Hi guys, I finally got good news this morning as I woke up to an email saying "We took action on your case". The action is that my card is in production!!!

Now I have a couple questions:

- How long does it take between "card in production" and card in my hands?

-The update is only for my work authorization. For my travel document, it says "we corrected your name" (which might be annoying as I hyphenated my maiden name and my husband's but they can call me however they want if that means I get my card right). Does it automatically mean that I get a combo card?

I can't believe this is happening yall!

COngrats :).....within 7-10 days you should receive your card

Any of you guys can check the i485 status on USCIS site. When I checked mine it says"At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC for additional information."?

the last time I checked my status was on Friday and it was still ready being scheduled for interview.

Does this mean they have scheduled my interview, and the mail is on the way?

I'm afraid that I have missed my interview without any notification from them...

Hi! I also got this update on my case. I actually got the notification on the app and thought for a fleeting moment that they had scheduled my interview but my heart sank when I saw this message. I called the number and they said there hasn't been any updates on my case and I received this message because USCIS has been going through updates and we might have received that as an error. Although I do have a small hope that maybe this message it is actually an update toward the case. Let's hope!

Looks like a glitch or they're just updating the site.

I think you'll get yours too within 2-3 weeks. Have you contacted the ombudsman about your case??

aww thanks! We did contact the ombudsman a couple weeks ago and we keep getting emails that they're working on it. However, my husband did get an email from USCIS that our service request is under review and that we should receive a decision or notice of action shortly for our EAD! I'm almost certain we're gonna get an RFE like how we did for the AP but whatever!! They've had our case for waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long (240 days to be exact) and it's about time they're gonna take action! I'm hoping once we get the RFE and I send it in.. we get the combo card.

I feel terrible my poor husband being away from his country so long and we wanna watch Colombia play in the World Cup with Colombians :D trying to stay positive so that we can travel to Colombia sooooon

Hi guys! I'm currently traveling on my AP... can anyone here share their experience of coming back into the US with AP?

If you had a non-immigrant visa before starting AOS (like F1 or H1b or B1/B2), do you need to tell them that you're entering on AP and not as a non-immigrant?

Has anyone used AP coming back from Canada by land?

HEy Hamilton, my husband just use AP to travel. When we got here at CB they ask him for passport and resident card. We showed them the combo card, they took us to that long waiting room, they check his info call him up and put a stamp on his passport and say have a good day. we waited longer because we had people in front of us. it was quite easy.
