Awesome news, congrats! Looking forward to hearing how it goes. ALSO - AT OFFICE? :D Congrats on the new job!!

Did your 485 ever update to "ready to be scheduled"? Or was this interview date letter the first thing you've received for the 485?

Anyone else having problems looking up processing times on the USCIS website? It allows me to select which form I want to look up but not the field office/service center. They recently changed their website so I don't know. Not that looking up processing times is all that helpful anyways. T_T

Omg, I was going to post about this but then couldn't bring myself to emotionally, lol.

THEY'VE REMOVED THE OLD PROCESSING TIMES. It's kind of incredible, really. So now, for my field office, instead of saying it's processing apps filed in July 2017, it says my case is still in normal processing times if I filed sometime in 2016....

Yeah they changed it!!! So you can look up your field office? I kept trying to click on it for the drop down list but my cursor just changes to a red circle so it's not allowing me to. They also got rid of that "policy" that said you may submit a case inquiry if your EAD has been pending for more than 90 days. But they added that if you've submitted a response to RFIE/RFE less than 60 days ago, they're "actively looking" at your case. 😑😑😑

Yes I can look my field office up, but it's the most meaningless information ever. I'm guessing the change is to stop us from saying "it's reached our PD" because now the PDs are all in 2016!

Try a different browser?

Try a different browser?

It works now! And it says for I-765, processing times: "2.5 to 5 months." HAH!!!!!!!!

They've found a way to make it better... for them.

How else would you get it? You have to be at the local office to plead your case. I think everything I've seen on VJ has always been to schedule an info pass and then try and get them to give you an emergency parole. I would take supporting documentation of how you'll face severe financial loss if you can't travel, and that you planned many months in advance.

When is the absolute latest you need it by?

My grandpa just passed away today and the funeral is the 15th of April. I’m trying to get it before then.  It’s not for, it’s for a member in my family.
