okay good, and they send email when there's an update as well. They just say we have taken an action on your case. when you sign it you'll see what it is. you should hear something soon. and I don't know if you contacted the ombudsman as well, they are a great help.

Saw your timeline and just wondering did you submit the medical i-693 along with the i-485 package? USCIS confirmed receipt of my response to RFIE two weeks ago, but I haven't receive the yellow courtesy letter for missing i-693 (they usually send it to those who have complete application file but didin't include medical). After your response received, did you hear anything from USCIS since 10/10/2017?

Yes, that is where I saw that they received my RFE reply. I check there every day.

Ah good. When did they post that they had received your RFE response? Sharing your timeline helps us help you.

Now that they've received it, you really should be very close to getting your card (and making it to your wedding celebration).

BTW, am I the only August filer who still hasn't gotten their combo card? Sad!

mmm I'm with ya! (well, my husband is - I'm the one who checks visajourney) We're at 210 days as of today and there has been no email or text or update of any sort... we had sent 2 SR and on Jan 4th we got a notification the it was assigned to an officer and honestly I feel like that person forgot about our case...I called after 60 days (March5th) and they sent another request and it still hasn't been assigned for processing.. they told us we can't call again until after 30 days which is coming up quickly... this is so so so frustrating  and I want to have faith but it's hard to try to stay positive. All my husband wants to do is be able to work. :(

Have you tried emailing the ombudsman or your senator or congressperson? Mine had no updates until Jan and I emailed my senator. I called USCIS many times before and they always said everything looked fine. Then two weeks after I emailed my senator, they sent an RFIE (to which we have responded and the status updated online today to, "RFIE response received"). I think emailing the senator finally prodded USCIS to look at our file. Unfortunately the SR's are kinda meaningless.

EAD CARD came earlier than expected. Just got an email from USPS that a package has been delivered from Corbin, KY. My heart is filled with joy.  Level 1 completed, now waiting to get my case sscheduled for an interview. This process is draining. This thread has been helpful and hopeful during this process but reading other posts on other threads scare me as well. I just wanna be done already.

Congrats! I feel very happy for you. Yes, this a very nice community that always kept me hopeful when times seemed dark. We are definitely not alone in the process. 🙏

Btw thank you so much for the link! I’ve just realized we had other updates we never saw on My Case Status, nor received any notifications via email or sms, like when my EAD was mailed (and I was a little nervous that it was taking longer than normal). I’ll trust this source more from now on. :)

Thanks for the reply! I saw your timeline had big gap between Response received to Card in production, and so was wondering if any additional document/action in between. The timeline made me worried about my case which is very similar.

My lawyer did, and I also contacted the senator on my own. I'm in Louisiana, where every representative fights immigration, so I don't have too many hopes on that side, but you never know :)

Seriously... I today received a letter saying that my I765 is under review and that I should receive a decision shortly. Seriously?! People who applied for the AOS in November are already receiving their interviews. What the heck is going on?

Yeah I tried reaching out to a representative but I haven't heard anything. And I agree with you...I'm beginning to think SR's are just a way for us to feel like maybe something is being done but in reality that might not be the case.. :(  thanks, maybe the ombudsman can help? I haven't tried that.
