I am so happy for you guys! Looking at those wedding photos make me think that we can do anything! ❤️

My ticket is for August 10th, cannot wait :) Now I'm struggling with suitcases and all the stuff. IDK what to bring with me xD

10/30/2017 NOA2 on USCISAPP/E-mail

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
08/10/2018 - POE Chicago

10/16/2018 - Wedding

 

AoS JOURNEY!

01/07/2019 - AoS, EaD and AP package sent

01/11/2019 - NoA1

And I just received my email, text and the USCIS app has FINALLY updated saying CASE APPROVED!!!!    So, it's official guys!!!

Reni and I have decided we will have our "wedding" in March 2019 as that would be our 3 year anniversary of being in a relationship.

 

Hope all of you are doing well with your spouses! I know this thread will soon parish off as many of us are most likely in the AOS forum. Just wanted to say hey and that I miss talking to you all!!!!!

We have our AOS in and finger prints for her done. Just waiting game again.

Two days after being approved I have my visa in hand :) I booked a ticket for coming Sunday to go to my fiance, finally!!!!!!

 

I wish everbody good luck with getting their visa's and the process after that.

I arrived on Friday to Chicago!! Trying to getting used to this country. Luckily I found some stuff familiar due to prior visits ;) We are planning to get married on september or october, and moving to SF ( my fiance got a job there) Right now I am looking on the forums what should I do next!

Fee-based USCIS operations (which includes the NVC) are not directly affected by the shutdown. For a while you couldn't get tax transcripts, which was a problem for putting together affidavits of support for some people, but that seems to be working again (or was last week).
