And I just received my email, text and the USCIS app has FINALLY updated saying CASE APPROVED!!!!    So, it's official guys!!!

It does seem surreal but seeing him come thru those doors is like taking a deep breath for the first time..... Cheers !!!!!

Yep we got one and I was in Africa for months and months and unfortunately we broke up and I withdrew the petition after he was approved but before he got the Visa Stamped in his passport. Oh well I’m happy, but we did get the DS-5535 and it takes 60-90 days. I been gone so long I ended up flying back to Atlanta because my mom was in ICU. She is getting better each day. Thank God !!!

OMG.....Maria I'm sorry to hear that. I've been worried about you guys since we haven't heard from you but I'm sorry that you broke up. Definitely wasn't expecting that especially after all you've two went through to get to the point you were at. I'm also sorry to hear about your mom and I will keep her in prayer.

 

If you're happy then that's what matters. Just shocks to hear this!

I'm right there with you.

 

Although our visa was approved in March, he is arriving on Saturday in SFO.  As this moment I'm thinking of all that could happen once he hits customs/immigration.  Looking forward to a peaceful night's sleep once he's officially here, we're out of the airport, and we can just start our lives together.

171 days of wait later...

10/27/2017 NOA2 (Notice Date in the hardcopy)

10/30/2017 NOA2 on USCISAPP/E-mail

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
