Yes I'm torn...I think we're just going to wait and hear what they say. If by the end of the week we don't hear anything I'll send them an email. I'm using the email I got from you: KingstonIV@state.gov

And I just received my email, text and the USCIS app has FINALLY updated saying CASE APPROVED!!!!    So, it's official guys!!!

Lol...I was curious because you seem to be getting email responses back more quickly than I am.

 

But that might be the right thing to do for now. Did they at least take her police certificate?

Yea I usually get a reply within 1 business day...sometimes the same day. Yup, they took her police certificate and birth certificate. I'm like they only have to take 3 certificates and still mess up on that. My fiancé is like don't say anything let them go through the paperwork and figure out what they need. I will give them until Thursday then send another email.

Hi all people, I’ve been disconnected but I have waiting for my sponsor papers for +4 months. I sent them a week ago, now I’m waiting for packet 4. I hope all May 2017 filers are completed by now!! I’m probably the last one. More than a year on this. (Although 129f approved on October 2017). How’s all going??? 😊😊😊

10/27/2017 NOA2 (Notice Date in the hardcopy)

10/30/2017 NOA2 on USCISAPP/E-mail

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
08/10/2018 - POE Chicago

10/16/2018 - Wedding

going good. nope some stragglers are still trying to cross the finish line along with you. We had the consulate interview next Wednesday but a Brazilian truckers union strike has crippled fuel supply in Brazil. the airports are closed and the freeways blocked by strikers... looks like July probably for us after an interview reschedule now... amazing our bad luck

Leaving for Brazil tonight. Hoping we can make it to the Rio consulate for Wednesday. Should have an update next week : )

Medical scheduled for tomorrow.

I'm excited! And glad that my fiancé is staying with me for a month so he can come with me to the interview <3

So my case has been in AP since my fiancé's interview April 30th. Today the case status was updated to "Ready" saying she can now schedule her interview...huh?? This ever happened to anyone? Obviously I'm going to have to send them an email but wanted to know what that's about. Is it just an error on their part?

Date changes are good because it means someone touched your case. The status sometimes jumps back and forth. What is the last date it changed to?

 

Definitely would recommend you emailing them. Because I'm thinking you're gonna have to send in the certificate of non-impediment.

It changed status on May 18th. I think that's when they received my fiance's medical because they didn't have it before. Now the status was updated on May 30th.
