The only difference is the first date on the old site is your received date and the new date on the new site is the date it was submitted in their system or your NOA1 receipt date.

My received date is May 23rd but my hardcopy receipt date on my NOA1 is May 25th. The new site appears to go based on the date that they put on the hardcopy letter.

Thank you for the quick response!

So informed delivery shows that our NOA2 letter is coming in the mail today and from the looks of the date, we were actually approved on March 21st.

Hello VJ family,

Great news my fiancé was approved on 03-14-18! The CEAC tracker went from Application Ready to Application Received on the 14th then that date changed on the 16th. On the 19th it changed to Administrative Processing and then to Issued on the 20th. They sent an email as well that the visa was ready for pick up.

I was at the Interview and we picked up his visa on the 22nd.

It's truely a blessing. The Lord answered our prayers and so many people were denied that day for various visas.

The Consulate told my fiancé that I must truely love him to have travelled so far especially for the interview since it's not easy.

They asked basic questions which I documented in our Timeline. He also asked follow up questions and when he would be traveling. We got home yesterday, March 25th!

It's feels so unreal. But I want to extend a thank you to everyone who shared their experience personally with me and for the prayers and words if encouragement. I have to add that front loading is what helped our Case, tons of photos with his family, as well as my fiancé knowing me like the back of his hand. People say you don't need all that. I disagree because it truely helped us.  All the Consulate asked for was his DS-160, Medical envelope, Affidavit of Support, Police Report, Appointment letter, and payment receipt. That's it. They did not ask him for any other paperwork though we prepared another packet with additional supporting evidence and more updated pictures from my last trip in December.

The dates of the visits are vital. Prepare is all I can say.

Good luck on to anyone who is still waiting and your continued journey.

My question is there an updated step to AOS? CBP stressed that we do this right away after we get married.

Also is there anything special that we need to obtain to get our marriage license? The date is set and the ceremony is scheduled.

Thank you in advance.

I might take a break from it since now my hardcopy is here. That app gave me anxiety issues every time I'd get a notification and it wouldn't be for my case...I've some time to before we get to the AOS stage of our lives!

Thank you in advance.

We only needed his divorce decree and my passport for our license. Was very easy and fast, we paid $40 in PA.

we got married in December and mailed the AOS papers in February, it took me a lot to put everything together, but it's not that horrible. Make sure he has the vaccination records from tbe medical appt in his country, we have to send those. Translated copy of birth certificate.. but you are able to find it all in details on AOS threads here in VJ. It took me that long because i dont have a printer, so my husband had to do it at work lol

good luck!

Oh okay thank you so much. I'm gonna fill out the DS-160 from here on my laptop because I sent him the sample copy the other day to review so he can get an understanding on what the form looks like and he said, "babe, there are so many questions and it just keeps going and going...", so it might be easier for me to just do it. I think I have a passport photo here that I can upload for him but if not, I'll save the form and then he can pull it up from the internet cafe from there and upload the photo and e-sign it and print the confirmation page.

I have all the I-134 and financial documents already gathered together and completed. I do my own taxes so I have my taxes printed out and my employment letter and pay stubs  I can print off at any time of the day from my online HR site that is accessed through my job. Plus I got my promotion letter that shows my title change and salary increase when I had my annual performance review. And I have my W2s. I will print out my bank statements but I doubt they need them. All I have to do is update the date on our letter of intent so we can re-sign them. He has his original BC and on Thursday he's gonna pay for his police record and certificate of non-impediment so it can be ready by the time he is ready for his interview. He has already gotten caught up on his immunization 2 months ago minus one vaccination because the doctor didn't have anymore in his office at that time.

Trust me, we've been ready for this next part of the process for a while. :D

They didn’t even ask for the updated letter of intent for us when you submit the DS-160 there is a statement that makes you make a declaration of your intent to marry. I’m glad you can go in !!!!!

PS if you can upload the photo just do so, so he doesn’t have to worry about sizing and so forth, just let him review and e-sign.

Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do. I'm actually working on the DS-160 now. They actually approved us on March 21st which was Wednesday so I'm gonna start calling this Wednesday and every day after that. I'm hoping we get our case# quick, like no later than next Friday! :D
