Dear all - it has been a few months since I last posted here but wanted to give everyone an update. My fiance attended her intervene in Yerevan on march 22nd. Sadly, but predictably, she was not given a visa due to the Trump Travel Ban. the Officer told her that she was otherwise qualified and that he would have given her a visa on the spot if not for the proclamation. They handed her a piece of paper stating that she is refused but will be considered for a waiver, eventually.

I can't believe this right now.  Floating on cloud 9 still I bet. First thing I did after reading was to check your timeline to see if it was update haha..OCD.

Well again if ever you guys head to Seattle are just message us. Dinner is on us..hehe....

How long is NVC now ? I read one member said they only waited 2 weeks or something but that was a few weeks ago. I really haven't been following time process for it lately. We are not married yet but will be later in April. Are you planning a trip over then for the interview?

A million congrats!

Thank you Steven and I'm gonna hold you to that about dinner because we love to travel...lol!!!

It looks like NVC is running normal again and is taking 8-14 days so I'm gonna start calling next Thursday.

And you better believe I'm gonna be flying there to attend his interview. Especially after all this waiting, I don't want them to have to question anything else and try to delay it any further.

We started this together and we're gonna end this grueling process together.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Excellent plan to go there for interview. What a relief to be able to start thinking about the next process other than NOA 2.

Have you guys done the DS-160 yet or months ago? LOL

He hasn't started yet. I'm debating on if I should just fill it out for him and then let him e-sign it over there in Jamaica. He'll have to go to the internet cafe and have someone there help him but I don't want someone to confuse him on the questions.

You think it would be ok for me to fill it out, save it and then let him go to the internet cafe to upload the photo and e-sign or just let him do the whole thing from there?

You can do it, he just has to review and e-sign. It is very important to be on site for the interview. Once Ousk passed over our passports and lease receipts, and said I was outside waiting if they had any questions they basically stopped all the questions pertaining to a “bonafide relationship” but I have been here for a while so that really helped. Once he passed the screening the Consular even said I’ve been informed that your fiancé has been here for some time and is outside waiting to which he replied “yes she is here just in case you need her”. So IMO with the extra scrutiny we faced, it is very important.

Okay, I'll fill it out then and have him go upload his pic and e-sign it over there.

I was always going to his interview. In Jamaica they allow the USC to attend at the window with the beneficiary. And after his denied entry into the U.S. in 2016 and waiting over 10 months for our approval, they need to see how real and serious we are about our love and our relationship. They've got 40-60 pictures when we sent in our petition but I want them to see us and put faces to the names on the petition and understand that we are the real deal.

Yes 100% just as long as you access it once every 30 days it will still be there. Internet connection can be an issue abroad for that site as well . Work on it together and have him log in and sign it when you are there.

He needs to load a passport style digital photo to the DS-160 as well.

Oh exciting stuff ahead.

Great way to start the week for you both with that approval out of the way.

Have you started on the I-134 and financials? Get Transcripts for free from IRS here. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Oh okay thank you so much. I'm gonna fill out the DS-160 from here on my laptop because I sent him the sample copy the other day to review so he can get an understanding on what the form looks like and he said, "babe, there are so many questions and it just keeps going and going...", so it might be easier for me to just do it. I think I have a passport photo here that I can upload for him but if not, I'll save the form and then he can pull it up from the internet cafe from there and upload the photo and e-sign it and print the confirmation page.

I have all the I-134 and financial documents already gathered together and completed. I do my own taxes so I have my taxes printed out and my employment letter and pay stubs  I can print off at any time of the day from my online HR site that is accessed through my job. Plus I got my promotion letter that shows my title change and salary increase when I had my annual performance review. And I have my W2s. I will print out my bank statements but I doubt they need them. All I have to do is update the date on our letter of intent so we can re-sign them. He has his original BC and on Thursday he's gonna pay for his police record and certificate of non-impediment so it can be ready by the time he is ready for his interview. He has already gotten caught up on his immunization 2 months ago minus one vaccination because the doctor didn't have anymore in his office at that time.

Trust me, we've been ready for this next part of the process for a while. :D

Hi everyone! Congratulations to everybody who got approved! A few days ago I noticed one mysterious thing happened in our case and maybe somebody knows what it means. It's a little confusing so we've thought to give them a call today. When I check my case status on the old account of USCIS website it says that our case was received on September 22, but several days ago I signed up on the new USCIS website (I went to the processing times and clicked at the button "login" at the top right corner of the page) and it says that our case was received on September 26.

The only difference is the first date on the old site is your received date and the new date on the new site is the date it was submitted in their system or your NOA1 receipt date.

My received date is May 23rd but my hardcopy receipt date on my NOA1 is May 25th. The new site appears to go based on the date that they put on the hardcopy letter.
