Didn't include passport stamps because I was living in the UK and the entry stamp is on my visa (that wasn't at all tied to fiancé) so I didn't think they'd be useful.  The passes show us, seated together, on the same flights and trains (we'd go between London and Edinburgh quite a bit) . 

This is ridiculous.  I sent in less evidence than you (four photos of us with dates/places written on the back and a printout of his travel itinerary from the travel company) and we were approved on the first go.  You shouldn't have to pay for their incompetence/understaffing.

I got the email about 3 1/2 weeks from NOA2. I called to get our number about 3 weeks after. It's been showing in transit to embassy for a week.

HOW MANY MORE DAYS FOR NOA2 now 

where is the approval 

I checked case tracker app 100 times a day 

nothing is updated online

oh ok... I am not going to wait for the email, I'm going to ring NVC within one week of my NOA2, every day util they give me my RDJ so I can schedule interview and medical, and if it comes to it, postpone interview later on.

We were going to do that, but since we are waiting for his sons to get out of school at the end of June (They live here in the United States), we aren't rushing things. Our case still shows in transit to embassy, so we aren't going to submit anything until it gets there.

Our interview was scheduled at 1:00pm, and we arrived around 12:45. They made us hang out across the street where is a special covered space for people to wait. At 12:57, a guy came out to check people off the list and send them inside one by one. Apparently, my name wasn't on the list even though we had called to make sure that I could attend the interview. After I complained a little () they let me in. We went into the security area where I had to leave my fitbit and our car keys. We didn't bring any bags or purses because we knew they weren't allowed.

 

After we walked into the second, larger building, we were instructed to go to one of the windows. The lady asked for all of our documents and she organized a file for us. Then she took my fiance's fingerprints. She took a good look at the affidavit of support and asked me why if I made enough money, I needed a co-sponsor? I told her that I thought my foreign income didn't count and she said it counts if you report it (??) - so not sure what that means for all you foreign working petitioners. We had prepared so many documents and I think the only thing they didn't take was my original birth certificate. Everything else from me (divorce papers, last year's tax return, affidavit of support, savings account statement) they took. Fiance gave them his original birth certificate, police report, DS-160 receipt, visa fee receipt, and medical files.

 

We ended up waiting for about 25 minutes after that and chatting with another waiting couple. They were super awesome. I love that I've met so many cool people through this process. The actual interview - they call you up to the window and you take the oath and use your finger prints to "sign" it. Then the interview guy tells you he's going to ask some questions and type while you answer. He was really nice. He asked questions like, "Who is your petitioner?" and omg my fiance was so nervous - I had to chime in, like, "It's meeee" haha. I will say that we tried to practice for the questions. Even though we are genuine couple, we wanted to be, idk, professional or something  However, we were both so nervous and my face was flushed that we just kind of over answered every question. My mind went blank for the dumbest stuff, like I had this one job for two years (the job that brought me to Romania in the first place) and I couldn't remember the official name of the program. Other things he asked us: how we met, why are we going to the US now, when is the wedding, some questions about my fiance's job, how long I've been living in Romania.

 

Anyway, after ten minutes of this special kind of torture, he takes a deep breath and says, "Well, your visa is approved! Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck in the United States!" and I swear you could've knocked me over with a feather. We left in a really excellent mood  

 

After fiance and I debriefed a bit in the car, we decided that even though we kind of blew the interview (haha) that they had probably already approved us before the interview. I think they make that kind of decision after they take your affidavit/papers/evidence of relationship and that the interview questions are mostly just a formality. 

 

I hope this info helps! I will also put it in the embassy reviews  

 

Overall, even though it was 10/10 on the stress meter for us, the staff at the embassy were very patient, kind, and professional.

We want babies too!!!! lol sorry its just so nice to come across someone who is experiencing something similar, this wait is terrible we just want to start our lives!!! Anyways good luck with your process!! Looks like you guys are almost there

my fiance called uscis today so tier 2 will call him back , idk let’s see i will post later what they said about our case.

Yesss we really want to settle in, buy a house, and have kids, we're looking forward to it and would have done it already if this whole process didn't take so long,  and I worry because I'm turning 30 this year and won't have that much time left cause we want 2 or 3 kids! We have a 4 months old nephew and he is the cutest, I keep seeing his snaps hoping to have my own very soon!

And yeah we got our NOA2 this week, but still a little longer cause of NVC, medical, interview.. good luck waiting for yours, be patient and if you can, visit each other. At least Colombia is closer than Brazil!
