Lord have mercy. Our interview is tomorrow. Next friday I have to submit my resignation. I wish I could give my job to @JSCGPV. Unfortunately it's in NZ.  I feel bad about panicking about resigning when others are doing the same about losing their jobs.

Thanks for the kind words. I'd sure take your job, but would be hard to get married in the USA living over there.

If I could just get a NOA2 shortly I'd be Ok, and I can always find another job, but the loss of this job right in the middle of this VISA process is super stressful. I'm just about at the end of my rope. I think what's holding me together now is I know I will be visiting my Fiance in two weeks for 15 days.

I don't have much money saved, because I'm taking from my savings for a trip to go see my fiance in two weeks, but I should be fine. If I knew this was going to happen I would have waited and not booked the trip, but we haven't seen each other in over a year and two months.

 

I found out that it might be June before we actually get let go from work, so that will help out, and hopefully we have NOA2  and interview  by June, but not going to hold my breath.

No worries here. Was just curious the other day.

Be careful moving and you haven't missed much. Still no NOA2 and I found out Monday I'm losing my job along with about 20, 000+ other people at HPE.

Life is still good though and I'm healthy, so can't ask for anything else.

HPE is on this big cutback trying to save money. Last fall they let 26,000 peeps worldwide go and now another 20,000+ in North and South America. So i got hit on this latest cutback.

I'm pretty good about stress management. When I was younger I would always get stressed and have panic attacks. But... I took a lot of stress management classes and educated myself on stress. I can pretty much take anything now and laugh about it.
