There is no reason this process should ever take 8+ months from NOA1 to NOA2, ever.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

248 days here

Well, you two have me beat. I'm at 225, but either way none of us should be this long, and worse yet the people in June should all be finished by now!

I think today is our 273 but we had an RFE so the numbers don’t really work.

You are still good bro. Atleast you heard something from them about your case.

I agree.  The stress levels are much lower knowing that they actually touched the petition.

Oh and to make things even more depressing...........

I was told today in a U.S. wide meeting that in May everyone that does the job I'm doing will no longer have a job at HPE. HPE will subcontract all the work out. So basically come May I no longer have a job along with about 20+ thousand other people. This is not a time to be going through that and the K-1. What worries me is now I'm going to be affected at the i-134 stage, because USCIS is dragging their feet and I won't be able to show I have a job if interview for K-1 is past April. I really don't see us getting an interview, let alone get approved before April is over.  Sure I will  have past pay stubs, tax returns, etc, but no company letter or job. I know I can get another job, but we all know it could take time and it wouldn't be a quit one job on Friday and start the next on Monday.

Oh well, just venting, Looks like another twist of the knife, just not a good time to be twisting it.

If you have money saved you should be fine, so hope you can have some, I mean the poverty lines are pretty low right? But maybe you could find someone to co-sponsor you, like parents, siblings.. good luck and hoping your NOA2 arrives soon!

Almost 8 months from the day I printed the 129f application at the local library (because who owns a printer anymore) and mailed it off, we have been approved for the ever elusive K-1 visa!! Hoping the fiance's close out with work goes smoothly so we can finally get a POE. Wishing everyone the best, especially @BVGApeach :)

Thank you :) We are soooo nervous! Our interview packet is huge. I hope we have everything :P

ETA - Also, I think you are our first July-er to get approved! :star:
