I just received a notification that USCIS is down tomorrow and will not be updating any cases. They don't update anyway so what does it matter. Almost another week and nada. It is amazing to see September and October cases being approved now. 265 Days and Counting... Just SUCKS!!!!

Reading this thread and I'm sorry to hear that so many of you are still waiting this long :(  I just mailed off my I-129F today, express mail hoping it would be accepted tomorrow but sounds like it might not get delivered until Monday.

I noticed you guys have Colombia listed in your timelines, but estao falando portugues... I lived in Brasil for several years, falo portugues, travel a lot in South America, and my fiancee is Colombian, lives in Medellin.  We were so excited today and it was an emotional thing to send off the visa application, but we realize we are in for a long wait. She will finish her contract with work in December, and we were hoping she can move to the US and we can get married as soon as possible after Jan 1, 2019... but it looks like we should probably already start to consider that she may be stuck in Colombia after December 15th with no job and just waiting, waiting, waiting.... but let's hope for yours to be approved and for ours to get processed quickly this year!

Boa sorte pra todos!

Boa sorte pra todos!

I lived in the Northern part of Brazil for two years, so I speak Portuguese and Spanish. My fiance is from Cali. I received my NOA1 on July 24, 2017, and we are still waiting. There are many who have received Visas etc... who filed in July and some who filed in August and September. You may receive yours early. It is a long wait, just have faith that the process will speed up and you can get your visa quickly. Good luck!

Cool! I lived in Southern Brazil - Florianopolis - for about a year and half, and have traveled throughout a lot of Brazil (during the World Cup 4 years ago we covered half the country it seemed haha) and have been to Rio several times for work and for fun.  I speak a funny version of spanish that I call Portunhol, but my Spanish has been getting much better over the past year since meeting my fiancee, who is from Medellin. I'd love to visit Cali.

Thanks for the well-wishes - best of luck to you too. I'm sure you're at the point where it's almost excruciating knowing it can be any day now, yet still waiting...!  Hopefully you'll get the good news soon.

Hi! hope everyones doing good!
I sent a copy of all my documents to the embassy as it was requested.

now im waiting for them to contact me back with the interview date.

I realize that in the affidavit of support we didnt fill out the A number for the beneficiary (me(

We didnt know we have an A number until i checked the NOA2 again, and saw it there.

Do you think this is a big deal?

if they say anything can my F just fill out that page again and scan it to me?

Thank you!

Hi Tamara. I have a few questions. Did you do the medical exam?   Can you please tell me how much was the total cost and if you pay the gonorrea test in dólar? Did you legalize the birth certificate? I am so confused we are in the same stage than you.  Thanks in advance.

With others still waiting on their NOA2, it is hard to complain about post interview problems, but it hurts just as much, especially when my fiance is on the verge on quitting.  This entire process has been extremely difficult for her, and I have talked her back from the edge several times, but I worry that someday I won't be able....

It has been 11 days since the interview, and we still have not heard anything.  I sent an email to the embassy on Thursday, and to my surprise, I actually got a personal reply on Friday.  Unfortunately, it did not say anything other than "The case is under final review.  You will be notified as soon as the review is complete or if additional documents are needed.  There is no other information required on your part."

I just hope we get an approval soon, or it may be too late.

Are you using the visa tracker here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA== You must enter immigrant for the visa type because it is treated as an immigrant visa till it's approved then it reverts to non-immigrant status. Normal turn around is 10 business days. Just a little more patience is needed from both of you. The hard part is behind you so rejoice. Open a bottle of wine and enjoy.
