Do you know if your NVC case is being handled electronically or not?  When you call, do you select option 5 or 7?  Option 5 was the new electronic system, and option 7 was the old system.  Some people have found that the cases handled by new electronic system are much slower, sometimes taking several weeks to get a case number.

Finally noa2 after a long wait :).  Was working, minding my own business and got the text!  I'm thankful to have found this forum and the people in this forum.  It has helped me get through this process and I hope that everyone else waiting in July will get theirs soon too.  It's around the corner.

Oh okay. Yes, the first time I called, I selected 7 then they told me to select 5. I guess mine is with the electronic system group because one of the lady there mentioned the PIVOT program which she said my file is under. Yeah, they keep telling me it takes about 8 weeks...I hope not, but we'll see. Thanks for the help/info!

Every day I would check the ceac website and on March 12th i recieved a reply messege from Haiti, saying they requested our case from Dominican Republic and that's when the ceac website changed as well

Hi! hope everyones doing good!
I sent a copy of all my documents to the embassy as it was requested.

now im waiting for them to contact me back with the interview date.

I realize that in the affidavit of support we didnt fill out the A number for the beneficiary (me(

We didnt know we have an A number until i checked the NOA2 again, and saw it there.

Do you think this is a big deal?

 

if they say anything can my F just fill out that page again and scan it to me?

Hey everyone, just thought I'd let you know that after my interview on the 28th March I wasn't given a straight approval, they needed to follow up on police checks, after what felt like weeks and weeks and 10 days of eating my feelings the visa status on ceac was updated to issued. I've never been so happy. 

I really hope everyone waiting for the noa2 and nvc hears something soon.

That's exactly what I did and booked a trip to come over here to the Philippines. That sure helped relieve the stress.

 

I'm sad to leave tomorrow on the 8th to go back to reality, but I have some great memories to take back and I know next time I come back here it  will be for interview, and hopefully we get approved and she can come back to the states with me.

 

Hang n there and keep positive. I know it's easy to say and hard to do, but you will, as well as the rest of the filers will get there! :D
