Hey, what was the procedure at London? I have my interview on the 28th. And congrats 😁

Really easy! They only asked me a few simple questions.

Is this the first marriage for you both?

Have you ever changed your name?

How did you meet?

What happened after that?

Where in USA does he live?

Does he have a flat or house for you to live in?

What's your plan for the USA? (I wasn't really sure what they wanted from this question. I just said get there as soon as possible and get married! And she smiled and seemed happy with that)

And then she said I'm going to approve this, you'll have your passport back in 1-2 weeks.

Good luck!

Hi everyone!!

New to the part 2 of July's topic. Can't believe we still haven't got approved for NOA2 yet.

We receive the hard copy of RFE on Feb 25 and we sent the additional documents in the first week of March. Now we are back for the waiting phrase!! This is such a torture :(

According to what I have seen here, you guys are counting days until approval. You might have been even approved without you knowing it, as they sometimes don't update cases online on time.Call USCIS and ask them what is going on with your case.It shouldn't take much after RFE.Good luck.

Hey guys quick question. My lawyer has to write a letter for the interview for something to do with a document to verify it, any idea who he should address it to?

If it has to be addressed to an unknown person (I am assuming adjudicator) then you can probably put "To Whom it May Concern"

NOA1: 07/17/2017

NOA2: 02/03/2018 (paper) ; 02/05/2018 (updated online)

NVC RECEIVED: 02/15/2018

NVC CASE # ASSIGNED: 02/20/2018

REC'D AT EMBASSY: 02/21/2018

MEDICAL: 02/26/2018

INTERVIEW: 03/07/2018 (APPROVED!)

VISA ON HAND: 03/12/2018

POE (BOSTON): 04/18/2018

MARRIED: 04/26/2018

AOS MAILED: 05/11/2018

NOA1: 05/14/2018

BIOMETRICS: 06/15/2018

EAD/AP APPROVED: 12/14/2018

Hey guys. we are currently doing the AOS. I have a question. If we have already stated my fiance's income on the form, do we still need to mention the balance of his account and provide that proof too?

Hi, if you mean the affidavit of support (and not Adjustment of Status), yes, your income is one of the fields, your balance of all savings and checking account is another field. You may earn a lot and have nothing in your checking/savings account, and you must submit proof of your balance, you'd have to get a letter from your bank. Here's VJs link http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

"You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:

(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance
(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)
(C) If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern
(D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s)."

Is there a way to schedule the interview at a later date?

The K1 visa is valid for 180 days, so let's say your visa is dated March 29th, it would be valid until September 29th so you could move in Sept!

I wish I had that early of an interview, but my case has just reached NVC and there are very few interview dates avaialable over here... it may even be late April, and I want to move ASAP to be with my fiance

I don’t want to do it in March :(((((

Is there no way to schedule even in April? They only have provided one date... it’s crazy. Do they update weekly or something of available dates?

Hope someone in your embassy can help you with that question. Here in Brazil, people can view April and May slots when scheduling the interview (there aren't any for March anymore)
