I am erring on the side of more information is better.  I have answered yes and I added an explanation in Section 8.

Does her A-# stay the same forever?  She got one when we got NOA2.

My understanding is that A-# is individual to that person- so technically, it is hers alone.
So it might help speed up your case since they can find her faster that way?

I'm not sure, but I bet they can find her information easily with her A-number. For full disclosure I'd add it.

Indeed.  Like I said, this one is going to have a lot of information.  I just finished the I-129f and I am so pissed I used Rapidvisa.  It was pretty simple to do.

I agree. They knew it was denied before the interview and before they kept all the passports. Oh well. We have to move forward, a little smarter and a bit more experienced.

John.................. I don't know what to say, I am so sorry to read you were denied, it was very unfair to let you be interviewed and then tell you, it just shows how little empathy the Government / civil service have for people's feelings, I guess the only positive is the wait times are dropping, have you decided which route to take now either applying for another K1 or get married?

We are refiling for the K-1.  It is more expensive but hopefully it will be quicker and I want us all together as soon as possible.  Taking an easier cheaper route but giving up months together just doesn't work for me...LOL

I just completed the 129 form and will be getting the copies of the police reports today or Monday.  I want this new package mailed next week and hopefully it will go quicker than my last one.

Not an expert, just another June filer here, if I'm looking at the same form, then it's asking for the USCIS online account number, if you have one. You can register for an in-line account with USCIS and I believe that's the account number they're asking for. If you didn't register for the on-line account, and don't have that account number, leave it blank. Again, I'm not an immigration attorney, just another filer, and that's just what I think. To be sure you should ask someone that legal expertise in this area.

Well,  maybe this time around all the info the USCIS look at is in the system, we can only hope but I am sure everyone on the VJ site feels your pain and will be following your progress and rooting for you both, Colleen and I were talking a few days ago about our interview next month and what we would do if we were denied, hopefully everything will go ok, but I do think it was very very wrong for the USCIS not to deny you back in March if they were going to take that action.

LOL  This is getting ridiculous.  I need to supply certified records of the arrest and court documents.  The problem is I was expunged and both the arresting police department and the county clerk have told me that there is no way to get certified copies of files that no longer exist.  As far as the circuit court and police are concerned, all copies of those reports have been shredded and are simply not available.  I may be able to get photo copies from my lawyer but those cannot be certified.

There must be something in a system somewhere for the USCIS to find it in their searches? can you get the police and court to supply letters saying that their records have been shredded and the only copies are from your lawyer's files?

I have letters from the police department and the court stating that the records have been shredded.  I don't think that relieves the requirement.  I think the best I can do is see if the lawyer kept copies.  If not I dont have access to them anymore.

why does life have to be such a Bi#ch all the time. As you said you were ticking yes in the box asking about arrests etc at least you will have corrected the problem from last time, all I can think is to give them a detailed statement on the additional evidence page,  the problem is, as we all know, to getting everything right first time..... every time.  Colleen and I have spent a lot of time worrying and stressing about getting the paper work right, we are both getting tired with the strain and like yourself we are both professional people
