So are we.  We have no idea what happened.  Everything was great at the interview.  Both the American and the Filipino interviews went great.  They both said that everything was fine but the NBI AKA that was required.

 

There has been no explanation from the Embassy at all.

Maybe if you supply that! Did you have the opportunity to supply them with that?

I never had a doubt this was fixable. After reading your post I went and did some research and found out this is just their stupid formalities. I know you will be approved soon and will be able to bring your family over once this is all squared out. I have been at other forums and I have not found the quality of kinsmaship we have in the June filers forum. I’m  forever grateful I met (although not physically) such a crowd. You each have a place in my heart! And your triumph is mine... I love you all with all my heart and wish all the ones still behind a prompt NOA2. I don’t know what I would have done without posting and reading each and everyone of your posts during this emotional rollercoaster process. Our interview is scheduled for May 9th and Atti already had his physical. We are getting all our paperwork ready but as you well know, our “ready” might not be their “ready”. Let’s pray for each and everyone of us in this process please.

Thank you! I am really trying to keep calm but after hearing John’s news I’m really starting to think about what our plan B is going to be. Day 309 and no news 😭

Being in love with a Canadian, I gotta say, seeing you waiting that long is making me crazy anxious. Is there anything unusual about your case?  Really hoping you get good news soon <3

It gets weirder.  The 2GO was setup for pickup at MOA.  The text Rose got said "US visa del today".  When I talked to the embassy they said that they have no record of 2GO yet and that if the passports were being returned it would say "US passport del today".  

 

They have escalated this at the embassy since it should go to 2GO MOA and they say it will be delivered.  There is something weird happening here.

 

They also said that the embassy will send an email as soon as the petition is refused.  We never got anything.  She has my correct email address and the embassy sent the 221(g) within minutes of the interview.  She said that the status does show refused but there are too many other questions with stuff that is going on.  Hopefully the Embassy will be able to fill in the gaps for us.

Thank you, I think we have a couple things thst might be complicating our case such as him having a green card 20 years ago but gave it up as business kept him in Canada and travel in the Middle East years ago for work...we just don’t know what they might be focusing on and last I heard the security checks were still pending. My congresswoman’s office is going to inquire again at the beginning of May...

I have not stopped crying! I’m afraid too. And as strong as a woman as I considered myself to be I’m shattered. I have lots to worry about. Atti had a deportation about 20 yrs ago. I don’t know how this will pan out. I just sent him a lengthy letter even though he is asleep right now. I just feel helpless to have our relationship be at the mercy of someone else’s interpretation of it. Sorry to be a doommer right now but this news of John has shattered me in my core.

This is the biggest emotional roller coaster I swear! After all this waiting of course the last thing any of us wants is to be denied 😭 These decisions are out of our hands now...we can only wait and see what happens. I am seriously thinking about what our plan B will be...and if a K1 is denied, what are the chances of getting a CR1 approved?

So sorry to hear this. I'm still hoping that they made a mistake.

@John & Rose my heart hurts to think after all the long wait this has happened to you all. You have been so strong this far and has helped us all in the process in some way or another I hope and pray this is just a mix up and good things are coming your way. Just know you are not alone everyone here is with you and cheering you on. I will be following you on this journey and I hope for nothing but the best for you and your family.
