Hey! I already left and came back from visiting my fiance in DR and still no NOA 2! Its been over 60 days that they received my response to the RFE 🤔 at 305 days I feel forgotten smdh but I keep my head and faith up.. Hopefully I hear something. I called and was told that the California Center is taking 7-8 month for K1 but I said NO mines is almost at a Year.. So the officer submitted a service request as to why its taking longer than the processing time I believe its outrageously over processing time.. Waiting 😔

Ugh! I hope you hear something back this week!

Fiance just got his Visa-

For those with successful POE- Can you clarify something for me?
He has his passport and One brown envelope that he's told to not open and to give at the border.

My (perhaps foolish) question is: He has to go through Europe first with a pit-stop before coming into U.S.
Would this be a problem? since his passport doesn't actually have any Visa stamps in it.

Thanks!

Fiancee, children, and I have been in the states since Friday Night.   It has been a busy weekend and it is 26° here and the coldest they have every been in is 75°  being single for years the credit card company shut off my credit card while shopping for clothes for three people.  Unusual transactions, which was interesting trying to explain it is for our protection to someone whom never had credit, but was only a 20 minute delay on the phone. All is well they are getting adapted, no longer washing clothes on a wash board, taking baths out of a 5 buckets (which I had to put clorine in mine got a bad rash from the water there after the first day) getting drinking water in 10 gallon jugs, not walking to corner market for every meals purchase, not walking everywhere, or taking (buses packed like sardines) The trips I decided to live as they live and not rent a  car.    Now self check outs, (no more armed guards at the stores, checking items in bins at front doors), hot water, heated house, heated blankets, warm coats, cooking inside not over wood oven, (seat belts, which they do not like)

Though I do miss being able to get the freshest produce and having warm tortillas.

Today I will go to the high school to see what I need to get the children in enrolled.  I talked to the High school and  director of ESL a few months ago and know the process and got the paperwork ready, which is going to be driving around the city most of the day to different departments.   Once I get more settled I will write a review of POE and Embassy.

Sounds like heaven on earth. :D I'm glad you are enjoying your time together.

It is a horrible and cruel process. I understand the need for checkups, but you are waiting for almost a year now. That's inhuman. You are my hero Martin. The way you keep your spirits up is admirable.

My lawyer does the follow up of my case. I think he inquired in Washington to get their Attention. I am blessed with my atty. by my side. he is doing all the work. filing inquiries and stuff without me saying it.. On February they said my case is being adjudicated and will get notice within 45 days. and now its april. he contacted USCIS and they said they can't give a specific date when can we get a decision.
