So it takes about 4 months now for Work permission?

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm going to be climbing the walls. 😐 I hate being sat about and doing nothing.

Also, for tracking passports from the embassy to the pick up point... The tracking site: Do you all mean the CEAC site? Or am I being dumb?

I was planning on getting my drivers license in that period, I need to do the whole theoretical and practical anew. <_<

I'd also like to help out at the local library (they have a genealogy department which is what I do for a living) and find a dog training club nearby (I run national competitions in agility). You know, get to know some people in the community. And the kitchen needs to be remodeled so I bet that's going to be my project.

When is you POE?

I have a group of people that want to do a podcast series with me. I want to be able to get some kind of part time thing so I can get out and meet people, y'know? I want to learn to drive too. Can't rely on him taking me everywhere. Especially if he is at work.

I'm still waiting to get my passport back. Flights for me and my cat, Ed, are booked for May 1st. I WILL have my Star Wars wedding!!! 😂

We haven't decided a thing yet. Spoke about chatting with people. Going to try for a funny interview thing. Not sure. Got to meet with the producer and host to figure something out. I really want to get my foot in the door with broadcasting and radio again. Really enjoyed being a guest on the radio during my last visit out there. I'm SO excited about it.

It's that or open an English bakery called 'Perky Buns' 😂😂😂

Damn girl! I wish you weren't that far away from me or I'd definitely come work at perky buns

I haven't had proper scones in ages, and they don't sell clotted cream in the Netherlands. My friend is English and she does a lot of tea's and lunches. I love love love her stuff.

Hahaha yessssss. Come work for meeeee. We can make scones, sausage rolls, Bakewell puddings, Cornish pasties, as well as fresh bread and cakes. I also wanted to own and run a record store called 'The Vinyl Countdown'.

I'm full of amazing shop and place names hahaha. Oh my! I could incorporate the two!!! A record store with an in-house bakery/café.

Yes!

Ughhhh. It's sad that I'm counting down to my last shift in this AWFUL job I'm in now and I can't wait to get stuck into a job there. 😳

London, hurry up and gimmie my passport and visa. Please. 😎

On to the next steps, I have completed forms and sent:

I-485 Adjustment of Status

I-864 Affidavit of Support

I-131 Application for Travel

I-765 Application for Employment

G-1145 E-notification

$1,225 check included. I thought it would be less :energy:

And now back to waiting......looks like Aug for travel and work permission based on VJ timelines.

We’re the forms straight forward?

Hi guys I’m still about.

I always read posts but don’t have much to say.

as you all know, my medical was 23rd feb. Interview 2nd March.

My POE has been booked for 6th May. (Via Dublin)

Currently packing, and getting ready to leave everything behind.

Had my hen party last week, and today is my leaving party.

My wedding is on the 24th June 2018.

It must be such a bittersweet feeling. Leaving everything behind but moving towards the love of your life.

We're all living up to that moment of NOA-2. Waiting, watching, more waiting. Then when it finally arrives it will be so unreal. I wonder at what time you realize that this is really happening.

According to the VJ estimates. In my timeline I updated for those forms above and VJ gave me a timeframe for the work and travel, not for the AOS (485) though.
