Anyone hear that in philippines they asking for them to turn over their social media?

I hear that they will start requiring 5 years of social media but I don't believe that has gone into effect yet.  That will be true for all visa petitions.

just want to be prepared. After 2 cancelled trips for medical because our little ones had fevers, today is our day. Interview is at 4:10pm my time.

A new month means I can now say Paul will be home next month!! Even though we went almost a year not seeing one another, these two months feel like an ETERNITY. I have a hard time with patience as it is, lol

It's nice to also be able to say there are no more holidays we have to spend apart, now that Easter has come and gone.

Anyone else with a POE in May?

Håll ut, y'all.

Sounds like a similar boat as me. I have been to two Infopass appointments, submitted inquiries, contacted my congresswoman and submitted an inquiry through the ombudsman. Have you tried any of those angles? Of course I’m still waiting so can’t say it’s working lol...all we have been told is that the security checks are still pending and until they are complete they cannot make a decision. I just pray this nightmare ends soon!

Yes, agreed! Totally a nightmare being away from the one you love and have to wait this long and have no clue when will be able to get approval.

But, this process has taught us to be "real patient", be more optimistic and enjoy the time being in long distance relationship. But im sure, would love to close the distance anytime soon!

I have been waiting about 2 months to hear from the Montreal embassy regarding an interview date, is this normal? It looks like other people have received theirs in about three weeks?

Thanks!

Wow. Have you tried calling them?

I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks now and I don't think I will hear back anytime soon either :(

I called today and it looks like they are closed for Easter Monday.

Day 285...incredible. My financé thankfully was able to visit for one month so that was great, but now has to go back which will be hard...especially since we don’t have any timeline on how much longer the security checks are going to take. I would hope we aren’t going to be denied at this stage after all this waiting! Hoping and praying for NOA2 before the one year mark!!

Yes this certainly started moving very fast.  I had a trip planned for Rose's birthday.  If we took the first interview slot she would have interviewed today.  That is just 25 days from NOA2!  As it turned out we scheduled during my visit so I can experience this too.

My daughter's high school graduation is May 20 so I would love for Rose and the kids to be there for that.  That will be the school that Aira and AJ will go to.

I am looking at houses now and it would be great if they were part of that process.

I know what you're going through. I'm in the 10th month of waiting, myself, still waiting for NOA2.
