Well thats a wrap for May 2017 all Noa2 are in. You June'ies are now the front line in the battle, Id like to give you all remaining some truth to help you through the last tiring and frustrating wait. I was full of anger I could barely see straight, its a system that just sucks, its truly not fair. That truth I mentioned though is that generally all you waiting will be approved, don't dwell in fear that somethings gone wrong, its crazy but longer waits don't equate to denials, if you were going to get cut it would have been awhile back. Just know your time will come and try to grow your strength as a couple because this process tests and strengthens I believe if you can muster the positivity to brighten each others days while trudging through hell. They wont be good days but they wont kill you either. best of wishes, see you on the other side its inevitable

They will send you an e-mail when it's ready for pick up (or that it's being delivered if you chose that option)

So now Rose, AJ and Aira are pre-registered for medical, have taken their passport photos, have their interview confirmation and are just preparing the paperwork to carry with them.  It is so hard to believe that just 3 days ago NVC received our petition.  

 

Our interview is scheduled just 27 days after NVC received our petition.  It is just incredible after 9 months and 7 days waiting on USCIS.

 

Hang in there everyone.  This is going to happen and the speed will blow your mind once you get past USCIS.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I have my POE tomorrow! 

could I BE any more nervous? (All my friends watching folks out here get it).

 

now. Just to be clear. I have my passport with visa, my medical result CD and my sealed envelope with me. 

Is there ANYTHING else I need? 

Just for safety, I have my entire K1 visa folder in my backpack with all kinds of docs. 

 

Just want to make sure I’m gonna be okay. For some reason, I’m terrified to cross the border.

now. Just to be clear. I have my passport with visa, my medical result CD and my sealed envelope with me.

Just for safety, I have my entire K1 visa folder in my backpack with all kinds of docs. 

 

Just want to make sure I’m gonna be okay. For some reason, I’m terrified to cross the border. 

It's going to be fine. :) The CBP officer will just ask you to hand over your packet and your passport. The officer just asked me 2 questions, where's my fiance right now and when are we planning to get married. My POE was in Washington DC.

Well my Rakhel is on a plane from Shanghai to Chicago by Noon she will be at O'Hare in a few hours I board Amtrak bound for Union Station and a finally seeing my fiancee after 10 months!

Well Time to head to the train station in about 7 hours I get to pick my love up at O'hare. I will post and let everyone know how POE is in Chicago :D
