PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Things move fast after NOA2 especially for Philippine beneficiaries. POE in April, when you visit, is not impossible. So happy for you.

We will do what we can.  I can extend my trip if it helps bring them home with me.  What a rollercoaster.  Yesterday I was told they haven't looked at the petition and today I am actually seeing that they may be here relatively soon...exciting and scary.  

 

Very scary.  Those amazing kids leaving all of their family and friends behind to move halfway around the world to a strange place.  I know Rose is completely aware.  I'm not sure the kids really understand.  They have never even been in a plane before.

I was thinking of driving around the neighborhood looking for him!  I doubt if I can stay at work all day.  I will have to get out of here.  For some reason I don't seem to be getting anything done today...

 

I am still worried that is isn't an approval.  I never got responses in the mail from any of my inquiries.  Deep in the back of my head I think this is just a "wait 30 to 45 days" letter... I think that happened to @vocaledge early on...

It has been 280 days, 40 weeks, 9 months and 7 days since we filed...  I am praying this is the approval.

I'm claiming it for you that it's an approval. Ours looked like that from the outside. Fingers crossed a generic "please continue to wait" letter would look ... different... somehow... :idea:
