What really gets me is that I called on Friday and again yesterday and both times I was told that it can take up to 60 days after an RFE to get reviewed.  They were just reading off the screen.  I should have pushed for Tier II.

Dude. Ours was in the mail when we called to follow up.

We got a tier 2 and she said she didn't know.

They have probably given up updating June online.

It's an approval!!! Congrats!!!

 @John & Rose  Yay!! FINALLY!

I hope you guys have everything prepared because this next part is gonna go fast.  :D

When are you visiting again? April 15th?

I have a trip planned starting April 13.  It would be great to get the interview scheduled but that is probably too quick.  I may take a chance and call NVC today.  I'm still not sure if it is an approval but I am freaking out a little.  I honestly stopped believing this day would come.

Yes, I'd call them too! Call every day, why not? It won't hurt anything.

Isn't the USCIS moving cases to the NVC within a week now? If they are, and they assign your case fast enough, maybe you'll have enough time to bring them home. But even if not,  the worst case scenario here is that they follow soon after!!

SO EXCITING!!  :D

I don't mind another trip in May.  It would be great if we can try to get the interview set while I am there though.  I would love to experience that with them.

Oh no, that’s the dreaded page “1 of 1.”

That means it’s headed to presidential review on Trumps desk. That may take some time, he’s busy training preschool teachers how to use automatic weapons.

You heard Secretary DeVos.  We need to harden the schools just like airports and prisons...A new agency called SSA (School Safety Administration) is being formed.  Please let your children know that they have to show up 3 hours early to school to make sure they have time to make it to their classroom before the doors are bolted shut.  LOL :P

It is totally possible to get it all done when you visit! The NVC timeline has seemed to pick up a bit. Once we had our #, it literally took two weeks until the interview and he was approved. After his approval, he had his visa on hand in four days! (and he lives 2 hours south of Manila..delivery seemed quick). I would wait until next week to start calling NVC, but I bet if you both worked quick, I bet Rose and the kids could travel back with you :D.

I know exactly how you feel.  I was thinking that I would never see an approval (if that is what this is!).  I called yesterday and got the "wait 60 days" answer.  This was a complete shock when I opened Informed Delivery!
