The letter from NVC should go to the petitioner.  If you haven't received it, call NVC and let them know.  You can book the interview once you have the MNL#.  The petitioner AND beneficiary can both contact NVC.

I already have my MNL # through a phone call and already scheduled my interview on April 5th. I am very much worried and confused coz ive read others saying CEAC status which says "ready" is fine but i got no answers like that when i posted this inquiry in other forum like this. Hoping to have the same case as mine which went well.

You are fine.  Once you get the MNL# all they ask is that you schedule your interview at least a couple weeks out so the paperwork will be at the embassy.  You are perfect!

Make sure medical is done and don't forget about CFO!

Is there anything that could be holding it up that you know of? Or is this standard for your embassy?

I'm having a phone around.

Turns out the medical centre still has my stuff from my medical last week. 😐 Can only mean my GP is taking it's dear sweet time about responding to requests. 😑

I'm ready to totally flip out now. 😑😑😑😑😑

The NVC # is the MNL#.  That is assigned by NVC.  If you have the MNL# you are good to go (Philippines only).  Once you hit NVC stage, both the petitioner and the beneficiary can legally call to discuss the case.

Yes I think I'd be on the phone to the doc too.  Or showing up in person. Perhaps they don't understand (or care) that there's some urgency needed here?

I'm not saying you should do this, but...back in the day when I had to collect money owing from clients, there was one option that sometimes worked once all the phoning, emailing and statement-sending had been thoroughly ignored.

You show up at their office and say, "Hi I was told by Accounts Payable to come pick up a cheque? Oh, they didn't? I must have misunderstood. Well, I'm here now, I'll just wait in reception until they get my cheque ready."

Heh.  MInd you, this only works if they actually have the money.

So if your doctor has already sent the information along, then...yeah back to waiting, unfortunately.

Hope you find something out sweetie. Keep us posted.

MIne too! Tracker status literally just changed to ISSUED!!

Okay, hang on...I opted to have it delivered, does this mean it's coming today?  Or tomorrow?

And of course the link to the courier service thingie in the status tracker message doesn't work. Arrgh.  I've been all over the Visa processing site and can't find any way to track it.  How DOES THIS ALL WORK??

:P

Yay! What does the paper with information on how to track say? Or are the URLs on that outdated too?

Yes, call NVC and ask them if they sent the letter.  It will go to the petitioner.  Have the petitioner email a copy to you.  The petitioner should have that.  Once you have a copy you can do medical (walk in only).  Make sure you do medical before the interview.  It usually takes two days so some people who travel to Manila do medical on Monday and Tuesday and then schedule the interview on Friday.  You hand carry the medical report to the interview so there is no wait for them to send it.

I dunno, my paper's not with me at the moment. I can get home quickly if I need to but I wasn't expecting it to be issued this fast so I spent the night away from home last night at my sons' place. Figures huh :P

Right. I bypassed my current doctor and called my previous GP. They still have my records. Not sent them to my new surgery, even though I have been with them for 4 months now.

The lady I spoke to has assured me that she will send Knightsbridge the details they need if she has all the requirements and requests in writing. Just emailed over the headed letter they gave me, included the fax and email again so they have no excuse to not contact them.

I'll give Knightsbridge a call later to see if they got the email. I know that GP surgery can get REALLY busy so I'd rather the phone time go to the old biddies that need the appointments.

Boy oh boy. This journey has made me go SO grey. I'm going to need a lot of hair dye after all this is over. 😂

I just picked a post office so that I wouldn't have to worry about being home. For the first time ever the problem is that they worked faster than expected. 🤣

Good job handling that! Sounds like you got someone's attention and she'll look after it. Fingers crossed.

That makes two of us!

I'll tell ya though...after all this, there shouldn't be much any of us can't do. We'll be unstoppable. :)
