Yeah. This is the annoyance speaking after 263 days of waiting for it to be this simple. I'm grateful I've heard something, don't get me wrong. Just irritated at the ineptness.

Hi All,

 

If the supporting documents on I-134, is a recent tax return form sufficient or should I get the bank statement from a bank officer with a letter from my employer as well?  What did you use for evidence @vocaledge?

Today my fiancé had the embassy interview, they said his birth certificate was not authenticated so they gave him a paper for him to resubmit it with his passport via DHL. It is so frustrating to get to this point and have set backs. I am trying to not be upset but feeling defeated today.

I’d be annoyed too!! 😡 Don’t the instructions ask for a copy of the birth certificate OR the passport?

Oh that’s good, I am still waiting to hear something from mine. The email I received saying thank you for submitting your inquiry had a link to fill out consent, and when I clicked on it nothing is there. Did you do that as well?

I had consent for the congressman. I don’t recall having to give the Ombudsman concent.
