Has anyone else here received a second RFE

Filed June 2017

NOA1 received June 13, 2017

RFE1 received Feb. 26, 2018

RFE1 response received March 1, 2018

RFE2 sent today, May 16, 2018.....

..... this has been almost a year now.  If anyone has any suggestions/insight/options to figure out why this is taking so long, anything is appreciated!

Last time I called they couldn’t verify whether the security checks were still pending so I have no idea where things are at. My congresswoman’s office was supposed to check again this month but have heard nothing from them either. Ugh

I called today and today they told me that background file they are doing now is of 9th may right now

Yeah, just change the date pretty much. I put the date of the interview. My husband did his medical while the status was still "at NVC". It only took a week to get to Manila.

My case is in the Philippines embassy now. do we wait for the letter from my fiance and to the medical? what do you suggest we do?

Don't wait. Mark received his letter from the embassy after we made it to the US. I would recommend going ahead and paying the visa fee and scheduling an interview and go ahead with medical!! We printed off the BPI receipt and interview confirmation for medical.

Yes it’s different than the last response I received in February that said security checks were still pending. Who knows

They told me same thing in feb  and guess what i would like to suggest that you dont make any inquiry if you have congressman involved in ur case.
