Seriously?!

Do you travel a lot? Or have you lived in other countries?

I know another individual who is also pending 300 plus without any RFE..and he said it's because he has lived jn various countries and conducting background checks etc @Faisal1 is that correct?

Yes its been 318 days and its still pending  for background check they  told me that my case is on processig hold because security check is pending.. if congress is involved make sure applicant or petitioner dont make any inquiry ..thanks

..ahhh i see..

I think you should reach out to your state senator and set up a meeting..because this is ridiculous.  Hopefully you will hear something this week. I really admire you and your fiance's resilience and patience in this situation

I already did.. senator or congress cant reach out to that ..they said   background check is something that no one can check or interfare..he have to wait like i do..

If it's "non immigrant" AP this time then that's a positive sign that the visa will be issued soon, seems like typically less than a week to turn to issued. Mine was only on NI AP for less than 2 hours, but every embassy processes at different speeds.

Yes, it's Non-Immigrant Visa - AP

Thank you.

Last time I called they couldn’t verify whether the security checks were still pending so I have no idea where things are at. My congresswoman’s office was supposed to check again this month but have heard nothing from them either. Ugh

What I know is that once the application is at the embassy, they will renew NOA2 for 3 months at a time while it's still being processed. But for your peace of mind, please contact your US embassy. Cheers.
