Atti didn’t get the visa, He was missing 3 documents the consul said. Police certificate needed to be a particular one specifically for immigrants , which I had told him to get cause I had read that on VJ forum and he still got the the wrong one. Same thing for military record.  We also need to apply for a I-601 and an I-212 each $930. (I just checked processing times for those forms on uscis and it says 13-18 months) even though consul told Atti it would take like 3 months. 🤷‍♀️

did you submit everything online for the NVC phase?? or did you wait for the mail?

I never received anything in the mail from NVC. Just an email, but we proceeding on with the process as soon as we received the MNL number.

So you submitted everything online?

 

I saw this on the website

Step 1:  Choose an agent

Step 2:  Pay fees

Step 3:  Submit visa application form

Step 4:  Collect financial documents

Step 5:  Collect supporting documents

Step 6:  Submit documents to the NVC

I am a little confused..? I never submitted anything to NVC. NVC forwarded our case to Manila and from there we proceeded with the process: medical and interview. We paid fees at BPI. I emailed my now hubby the affidavit or support, my financial records, and updated evidence of bondafide relationship. 

 

The steps that you posted are generic, I believe.

oh i see.. did you pay first? while waiting? when did your hubby needed the AOS, financial stuff? on the interview date?

He needed the I-134 for the interview and I-864 for AoS. He paid for his interview at BPI prior to medical. You are asking about the K1 process, right? or AoS? I don't want to tell you the wrong thing lol.

yes K1. I am on the NVC phase now. they just got it from USCIS. All the supporting documents, affidavit of support will be given in the time of the interview? I am just being difficult right now im sorry
