both of us have never done something wrong for a refusal, but taking that long makes us doubt about , why everybody is getting approvals and not us , we have never been married, and we have not done anything even speed ticket, she called she submitted service request but we haven't gotten any information and just weeks and months pass , how long would be this ??!!! that's why I thought CR1 would be quicker if k1 take a year to be approved plus time till the interview, plus time for AOS so it would be longer than CR1 .

So according to expert CR1 is not worth it at this level, we just have to wait for their decision

Honestly, at this point I would just wait.  A CR-1 will add 12 to 14 months.  Trust me, sometimes they are just slow.  You are fine.  Try to relax and focus on your loved one not the process.

I see Octobers getting approved more than junes and julys and Augusts, summer time is not the best time to apply looks like, but anyway still this process is the most stressful process I've ever experienced.

Yes we inquired and today is 45 days since we received the inquiry  number, so we are able to make the 2nd one but we will email instead, the service request ended up unfruitful ...

Good luck for you and for everyone still waiting

This is seriously awful. I am so sorry. I wish you and your fiance the best. I will pray for your fast approval. And I hope the process is easy and speedy after that too. You are truly an inspiration for having patience

A bittersweet car ride with my sister, reminiscing about our dad, listening to music from our childhood, and a rather tearful goodbye... I'm at the airport.

Good luck everyone. 'May the 1st' day of this month bring everyone happiness. 💜

I'll see you in a few hours, Americaland! 😎🤩😎

Welcome to Americaland. I pray you find all the joy and happiness you and your partner in life hope for.

On that note, @LydiaP, I've missed you for a few days. How are you holding up hun.

I'm right in the midst of finals. I'm heartbroken that he won't be here for my short break in May before I dive back in to school. At this point, I'm wondering if I get to bring him to my brother's wedding in September so the rest of my family can meet him. It's pretty painful to come to these boards and see approvals so I'm trying to ease off a bit. Thank you for asking. I really do appreciate it

Yes this is not what we were expecting, that’s for sure. Looking at another summer without my fiancé here is heartbreaking 💔 Could he come visit in Sept? Or hopefully the visa will go through before then!

Yep.  I failed to follow directions and I did not disclose a 1990 misdemeanor arrest that has been expunged.  When I got expunged the Federal Judge and my lawyer told me that it no longer exists and that I can answer no to that question on job applications and such.  It is true everywhere but immigration.  I answered "no" and we were refused because I failed to disclose information on the petition.  The weird part is that since it is expunged, I could not produce any court certified paperwork for it anyway.  In my research, expunged people have been refused because they only had copies and the courts can't certify documents that don't exist.  I think it is just one of those weird loopholes.  I would have been refused if I said yes because I would not be able to produce the court certified papers that would have been requested in the RFE.

This is due to IMBRA and the Adam Walsh Law.

There are also a few people who have done the same with their expunged records and were approved.  Now onto plan B

They waited all the way til the interview to deny because of that?

I believe they saw it during AP after the interview.  Both the Filipino and the American CO congratulated us and said there were no issues outside of the AKA for the misspelling of Rose's name on her daughter's birth certificate.  I believe we passed the interview and the arrest was first noticed during AP.
