I'm getting a little worried as I've seen a few people who have the same NOA1 as us (3/5/2018) at Nebraska were approved last month but still nothing for us... does anyone know if that's normal or should I be concerned?

5 weeks after it arrived to NVC? Or 5 weeks waiting on just case number while your case was already there? I have seen that takes about 2 weeks to the center to send it to NVC , then 2 to 3 more weeks to get case number!

Five weeks from USCIS sending to receiving case number. We never had the time to call and living in a completely different time zone, so we didn’t confirm if NVC had received it. The timeline you’re describing sounds about right, though some cases do take significantly less time.

They are working on first week of March now to my understanding... your sould come this coming week! But anyways, sadly we can only ask for a request when on the official website says March 5 for you! It’s on Feb now! And idk what’s the deal with March! Like bar graph is barely moving on Igor list for this month, but for sure all aprovals should come anytime soon because for sureeee they are done with feb!

I'm looking at your timeline and it looks like 3 months from i130 approved to NVC received? So what tooks 5 weeks? A bit confused :)

We are waiting for our case number now.

We are waiting for our case number now.

From when USCIS told us “case was sent to department of state” to finally receiving NVC case number. It took USCIS a long time to forward our case since I-130 approval. We filed our I-130 in December last year, but are pretty much in the same stage as you.

Ouch. That took so long? At least you're at the next stage now. Good luck
