Hi, we were approved Sept 25 and received the approval mail Oct 2. As of now no case number yet. NVC received our cas Oct 11. We just called NVC this week and no case number yet.

We've remained patient for months and some of us, a year! Show us some approvals. All we want to do is live like a normal married couple. 

 

i hope someone in some authority reads these threads and know that we chose to go the legal path and WAIT patiently. We live in a country where so many other people are cross borders illegally and doing things the WRONG way. The Government created rules and regulations and we in this group are abiding by them. 

 

We are not asking for any free hand outs. Just grant us the approvals to go on and live our lives!!

Amen!!! God hear our prayers. I am very stressed about this. I check my email, the web site account, apps every 30 minutes, honestly...and the first thing I do when I get home, I check the mail. I feel saddened and worried at some times. But I know that it will soon be here. I and all of us have to be positive and support each other. It will be here soon, and we will all finally be able to live happily ever after...

means the time from NVC received your case to they have assigned you the case number,  can you please tell ?? 

Hi! I saw that you’re still waiting for your NVC case number. We were in the same place until yesterday. It took ours about five weeks to be assigned a case number (since USCIS sent it to NVC). Yours will come too!

In our case, five weeks. Though I’m sure yours will take less time. It took us eight months just to get our NOA2.

5 weeks after it arrived to NVC? Or 5 weeks waiting on just case number while your case was already there? I have seen that takes about 2 weeks to the center to send it to NVC , then 2 to 3 more weeks to get case number!
