Im at the beginning March 5th and I am still waiting so...

So frustrating.... long waits when you call USCIS and then nothing. Keep your spirits up. In the Lords time, things will  come together. My PD is 03/15/18 and I am also waiting.

Well, as of October 13th my husbands case was transferred to " my local office" after waiting 7 months. P.D is March 14th 2018 . Anyone with any info or experience. I've heard and read nothing but horror stories or nothing at all after the fact. It seems as if they transfer the case to the office and they do not acknowledge or respond that your case has been sent to the there. I called and they told me what I already know and I can't submit an inquiry until another month and a half. Feeling super discouraged... My husband is in Mexico after voluntarily deporting the U.S for a visa overstay.

This is interesting. How did you know they have transferred your case to a local office?

Some interesting stats I have seen for March filers in Texas Center. So far not a single approval in October for March filers (those who haven't been approved yet). Only April filers TSC seem to getting approvals in October. Strange universe. The waiting game continues.

After creating an account on the MYUSCIS  Website I received an email notification of case status change. The previous website still hasn't updated.

Yes it was transferred to "my local office. I'm not sure exactly what it means but I've had previous interaction with the office when my husband was going through his voluntary departure. I've visited that same office on more than two occasions and I also bailed him out of the I.C.E detention center, which is apart of the voluntary departure process. That's the only thing I can think of. I hear that they some times interview the petitioner only and I'm guessing that is what this is, it's seriously stressing me out. We have a child together, she's so little and I can imagine how confusing it is for her being dragged back and forth between our countries and her possibly forgetting her father.

I'm so sorry that is happening. Now that the holidays are coming up it is very stressful and emotional to have to think about picking what to spend together and what you can't. I can't imagine with children, so I commend you for your strength. I wish you the best!

The voluntary departure shouldn’t be a problem as long as it didn’t happen recently. I've just read that when it's sent to a local office it is usually followed by an interview at that local office. They might need more evidence that they will collect in that interview. That’s just something I’ve read in another  thread, I’m not saying that’s correct. Just stay positive! Everything will be fine 😘

I think as both you and @Melissa1695 have alluded to it could possibly be a an interview with Petitioner (You) as part of the investigation and adjudicating process. It's a rare thing that happens but it happens when the service center is not able to substantiate things through RFEs or in-house research then they send the case to local office for interview the petitioner or investigation based on existing relocation criteria. SEE link below. I wish you all the best with your case. You might want to schedule InfoPASS at the local office and seek more info before they reach out.
