I understand your sadness. For some reason, I see from VJ timelines that USCIS is approving more April Nebraska filers than March Nebraska filers. It's really strange what those USCIS guys are up to over there.  All the best with your case.

They won’t notify you, they will only notify you when your case has been assigned a case number. 

 

The last you’ll hear is when USCIS have forwarded the case to NVC, after that you’ll have to contact them  usually it takes around a week so I’ll be calling them myself this coming Friday.

Got approved on sept 17. Do we wait for the nvc welcome mail or call them? How long should we wait before calling them. Our lawyer told us to wait until nov 15!!

We got a hard copy of i797 notice of action stating our case is approved and that they have sent it to NVC. I have no idea how to find out if the NVC recieved our case. Do we call them?? Or wait for any mail from them. Thanks for help.

You should have a date for when USCIS forwarded application. You can find out by giving them a call

February approvals for NSC are coming to an end.. Hopefully we'll be seeing March approvals from next week or the week after that.. Fingers crossed! ☺️🤞

Ok we will try calling the NVC. I saw some cases NVC recieved in two weeks and We were hesitant as we don't want to be seen as despos at the same time don't want to lag behind.

Guys!! I got this, this morning! I was shaking so much and nervous I completely locked myself out. On the phone with USCIS now. Crossing my fingers!!!!
