 Hey!

We got case complete on 3/20, but still waiting for our interview letter. Does anybody know how long this can take?

Thanks

Not sure! All of us on the thread "Case complete to Interview May 2019" are still waiting. you should join that thread!

Only 2-3 people on VJ have reported receiving a May interview date, all of us are CC and waiting still! UGH

After a little over 3 weeks (I resubmitted my tax transcript on March 15th) I finally received an update from the NVC. They accepted all the documents but now are asking for "Proof of Domicile".

Currently I live with my husband in Sao Paulo, Brazil, so right now we don't have an address in the US yet. His company is transferring us to Miami and will set up temporary housing until we find a permanent place (my husband's company will provide us the temporary housing address so we can submit it during our interview, we don't have that address yet). Our lawyers sent us an affidavit for me to sign stating that we will secure an address before we move to the US and also to explain the situation. She said that it would be sufficient to proof domicile (she has provided that before to other clients with no problem).

Great finally u got updated..

M Happy for uh guyz...

Best luck for Further process...

BTW if you don't hear from them in week 3 after submitting, go ahead and call the NVC helpline and ask for a supervisor. I spoke with a supervisor Friday and she escalated our case and today we got a response.

did you get CC???

No, we had to order the proper police certificate. Not sure how long it takes. Maybe I’ll get it this week or next and then can upload. I am with my spouse in Canada so we aren’t separated, however the sooner the ball can get rolling the sooner we can deal with selling our house and stuff. I guess at this point i’m hoping for an April CC 😕

Updated today

But still confusing

I hv submit documents of my  cousin uncle and aunt  as joint sponsor.

Both are separatly.like first join Sponcer is my uncle n second is my aunt.. who are not living with us.

After reviewing my case ceac said add aunt's documents as household of uncle.. We did it (864A,other documents of her)

In next review they removed all the documents of my aunt ..

And told us that add as household member n than submit..

Now we don't want more complication. b.cz I already have add my mother's documents as my household member..

So wanna remove my aunt

My uncle's documents are accepted...

My mother's documents also accepted

How can I remove it??????

Wts the process?????

So sorry about the confusion. I recommend for you to call them and ask to talk to a supervisor and explain the situation. See what they recommend for you to do. But again, speak with a supervisor, most of the NVC reps are not too helpful.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Best thing is to call them right at 9am when they just open. It has worked for me as when I call right at 9am the hold time is no more than 20 minutes.
