Guyz is it possible to add household member of joint Sponcer ????

If than how??

For that need to feel extra i864A or only some details of household in i864 of joint Sponcer???????

Yeah you can add a household member to a joint sponsor. They would have to fill out the 864a and submit all documents necessary.

Yes! I had my husband obtain a new one today & per the doc finder for immigration its the right one. The one we submitted was actually 2 years old 🤦🏾‍♀️

No question, just frustration at the waiting game, and I know everyone has to do it but still thought I'd share my current status and maybe someone else has been through something similar in regards to timeline:

PD: 03/28/2018

Approved on 11/26/2018

NVC received on 12/07/2018

NVC case # received on 01/26/2019

Documents submitted on 02/23/2019 as well as spouse's DS260, the requested the UK police certificate in addition to my spouse's home country's. We had to wait for the UK one.

03/08/2019- proof of relationship with household member they told me to re-upload in the correct direction & rejected my i864 saying it was too hard to read, re-uploaded everything that day.

03/11/2019- uploaded UK police certificate

03/20/2019- accepted ALL documents except my spouse's birth certificate (too hard to read)

03/21/2019- uploaded better version of the birth certificate

And it's been a waiting game since then... don't even know what timeline to follow, I was hoping they could review the last document and accept/CC within this week but no such luck. Sigh.

Just stressed that it's already April and no sign of an interview. I graduate with my MS in May and really wanted my husband to be there with me....but at this point not too sure.

Hey. You definitely have the right to vent; perfectly understandable. Sometimes the way they work at NVC it's hard to really know what's going on. Hoping your all documents get accepted and you get CC sooner. Stay optimistic.

Hi All,

We've been on this journey since the beginning of March 2018 too,

We've finally had the email 7 days ago telling us we're documentarily qualified, which was a big relief.

Just a quick question for those with experience - how long does it usually take to receive notification of the interview date (It will be at the London Embassy) and also @MrsB2212 or anyone else who might know - how long does it roughly take from this point until the actual interview?

Just trying to figure timings out with my work and when the medical may be etc.

Thanks in advance for any help and good luck to those in the same position as us - it's been a long wait.

Thanks

It seems to be very variable!  My embassy has like no filers, but because they only allot a few days per month to immigrant visa interviews, it takes a while to hear from mine (I am also CC).  I recommend filtering the immigration CR1/IR1 timelines with your countries' embassy and then you can get a rough estimate of how long it took recent filers to get their interview letter after CC.  Good luck. We are almost done!
