Dear Everyone /I-130 Marchies 2018

Mine and my husbands true journey is just beginning!

🥳

My CR1 visa was ISSUED today.

Praise be !!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Our I-130 was received on March 22nd 2018,

so today March 11th 2019 we see the fruits of our hard labour!

I really want to thank EVERYONE who has helped me here on Visa journey.

Honestly guys I would have been so lost and discouraged in this process if not for you.

From the bottom of my heart , THANK YOU!  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I want to encourage anyone who is still waiting or just starting the process to keep the faith! It happens. The journey does come to an end. A very good end !

I will depart U.K. at the end of the month 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Always still available to help anyone.

I pick my passport from the courier office on Thursday. I will document if there is anything worth sharing.

thank you for the information and I am aware. once the petition is your spouse they are allowed to attend the interview with you in my country. A member from here did her interview on Friday and she went with her husband and it didn't pose a problem. each country and it's embassy are different. Thanks tho

Hi, congrats. I had my interview today and the officer told me I am approved but my status shows administrative processing for visa print and all. Is that what you had after your interview?

Thank you Dee93, that does give me some hope that this might not take the entire 6 weeks. However, it has already been 1.5 weeks since I called them and them forwarding my case to a supervisor. I am planning to call Monday.

I almost wonder if I should try to add a household member to my case again to see if the second time will work normal. But I'm concerned if having 2 household members (for the one person) will lead to other issues...

i dont suggest you add another household member because it might just delay stuff even more. Call and insist to speak to someone!

Hi everyone. I am in the step where I have to submit all my documentation through the CEAC site to the NVC. I uploaded all the the petitioner's (myself) and applicant's documents. I added a household member to my case and received the message through CEAC saying that my request to add a household member has been approved. This was about two weeks ago. The site does not allow me to add the household member's documents. I can see the household member's name on the page but it says 'N/A' next to their name.

Has anyone else run into this situation when adding a household member or joint sponsor to your case? How did you resolve it?

I called the NVC and they said they would forward my case to a supervisor. They said it could take upto 6 weeks (!!!) for a supervisor to look at why the site isnt letting me upload documents. I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this and if there was any other way to for me to get all my documents uploaded and submit my case.

TIA!

Same here for me....

Did you get available to upload document??????

Yes honey. I was approved on March 1st at interview pending medical report which they didn’t have as I did it a day before the interview. So it was showing ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING for 10 days. My medical was reviewed on Thursday  7th  March and visa issued on Monday 11th.

So once your visa is issued it will show issued. It won’t take long. They usually issue the visa in 2 business days providing they have all they need from you. So it’s coming! Congratulations!!

Thanks very much for reply.  yes it takes time for them to print visa and put it on your passport. I am also flying to USA from canada end of this month.  I had my visa interview at montreal, Canada.  after security checking they take you on 19th floor where you are called first for documents check and then second time for real interview.  Just know your spouse well. :P . interview was pretty simple they asked basic questions like what's your husbands name, do you have any babies,  the address you provided in the usa is there where you planning to stay, and how long you have stayed in USA on visitor visa.  Thas it. I hope it helps. Our journey came to an end. Wish all good luck,  just hang in there.

I got two emails at the same time (same timestamp) from NVC. One says birth cert is invalid (which I know is valid), and the other said I'm Documentarily Qualified. I called them to ask why they sent me two conflicting emails, the rep said we don't need anything from you at this time. Your case is complete and line to be scheduled for an interview. In any case I'm CC now but since I don't trust the reps too much I have ask my spouse to go collect a certified birth certificate as I don't want any surprises interview time.
