I'm here with you...

Hi, Mr&MrsGomes, so you as well your application is pending? I wonder why our cases is taking USCIS too long to get an answer. Ours got sent to Nebraska. Could it be because he was in jail, and then transferred to immigration, but then I got him out with bond. Final immigration court proceedings he signed for voluntary departure on August 20, 2018.

Hey all! I just received an email saying there has been update from NVC but when I log on there is no message. I called them and they say my case hasn’t been reviewed. Does it take a while for messages to load?

The CEAC system has been recovering from drug overdose lately. It's been messed up for the past week.

Thank you for sharing that.  That is exactly what I was talking about.  So many petitioners don't open their eyes to the real "big picture".  The stress on the beneficiary is huge and probably more stressful than the petitioner.  In my case I have a wife and two step kids who are leaving the only home they have ever known.  They are leaving their families and friends and because of me, moving to a strange country on the other side of the earth.

Yes, they will have a great life here.  There is more opportunity for them here.  They will eventually feel like part of this country.  They will be able to go back.  It is still tough on them.  We all need to be aware of that.

Hello,

yes it’s normal, same thing happened to me when I recently submitted and many others. I guess the system is really slow and has a delay in the statuses. But it will eventually change your status in a few days or after they review the documents

To be honest, nothing to be worried about,  you’re fine.😁

Oh thank you! ☺️ We were very stressed out about it.

Actually I didn't register with Aramex until after midnight the day of the interview. So in other words I was late in doing so. Me nor my wife knew about it until the day of the interview when they asked why she hadn't done it yet. She said everyone else had came with their receipt. But it's not a "requirement" for the interview. You can still do it after the interview. If you do it after the interview make sure it's BEFORE midnight so nothing is delayed.

Help!!

Im uploading civil documents for ds260

It is only allowing me to upload my husbands birth certificate which is foreign. Did you guys upload the English translations in the "optional documents" section? And same for my information like my birth certificate, passport photo, and biographical passport page?

I uploaded originals and the translation to each in its section with it. Just create a PDF file with multiple pages and then upload it. So for instance Pg 1 is the original and Pg 2 is the translation.

Your profile says IR1/CR1(DCF) which would mean you filed your I-130 at the USCIS office in London and skipped the NVC and book your own appointment. My misunderstanding.

All of my documents are PDFs. My tax returns for example were around 16-17 mb each.. tried compressing them but only got them down to about mb

If you are taking pictures check your resolution setting on the phone. No need for high resolution pictures for the documents.

Hi 🙂

How many days did it take for NVC to accept our documents these days ? I heard that is up to 6weeks but does it takes literally 6 weeks?

Thank you!

Some people have been saying about 14 days to review docs. I haven't seen 6 weeks.

I'd say it's about 2-3 weeks. Mine, personally, took about 15 days.
