How long usually does it take to get Case Number after Nvc recieved my case from NSCIS?

 

Pd : Mar 19 2018

Noa 2 : Nov 20 2018

Sent to Nvc : Dec 3 2018

 

then I emailed to Nvc and they said they recently recieved my case but not in syster yet. It’s 31 Dec.

Up to 8 weeks! Noa2 for me was 11/30 and NVC received 12/13. I called last week and they said by feb. 7th for me... if that helps!

Starting to see some progress in our families cases which is good. Nothing for me and my husband, but my sister in law received her Case Number from NVC - around 60 days after it was sent from USCIS. So fingers crossed we get ours soon!

Hi All,

 

My Parents I-130 application was approved and NVC also accepted all the documents (AOS I 864, DS-260 and Civil documents). I have one question regarding scheduling interview.

 

After NVC accepted all the documents and DS260 (visa application), Will NVC notify us to schedule an interview at US Embassy or NVC will give us exact date and time for an interview at US Embassy directly? How NVC notify us regarding interview date or scheduling an interview?

I think by mail from what I've read. I missed a certified letter Saturday and think it was that letter as I'm not expecting anything else. I'm waiting on the mailman to attempt the second delivery as I type this. If it is in fact the letter I'll let you know. And congratulations!

i have a experienced that a couple of times but i have tried right back  and got thru both times..keep trying u dont  have to wait a week or wateva that automated voice say.. try right back u will be successful tho u gonna be on hold for 30mins.

I believe notification is by email mostly. NVC will schedule the interview themselves at US embassy and then they will let you know when to attend. So NVC will give you the exact day and time details. Best wishes.

I am also waiting but i got rfe on november 7 and sent back on 20 december on 28 dec they received our resopnse but nothing yet from uscis
