My PD supposedly is 03/22 but new website reads 3/26

Yes I had that as well . Two different dates across the old and new websites.  I think we were 22nd March and 26th March as well.   It made no difference.

We got approved 17th October. So don’t worry.

PD 03/28

NO1: 03/30/2018

NO2: 11/20/2018, received via mail on 11/26

App shows that on 11/29 it was sent to DOS for visa processing--> is this fast or slow? Typically how long does it take for USCIS to send it to DOS for processing?

Additionally, a little confused on what my next steps should be? Should I wait and then start to call NVC for my case number?

Thank you in advance :)

Congrats! I’m in the same place as you! I did get a notification via the app that “ your case had been sent to NVC”. But I’m not quite sure what happens next.

Does the NVC notify you via mail?

Anyone know?

Hey! So what I know is that NVC does not notify you once your case has been received. You have to call to know they received it. They notify you once they have a case number assigned for you , and you start the NVC process then. At least that’s what I know!

But it if you have more NVC questions go to this forum : This forum is specifically for everyone in the NVC stage. I recently got approved last week. So I’m right behind you! Hopefully we hear something from them soon. But anyways it takes around 4 - 8 weeks to obtain a case number. After they’ve received your case ☺️

We’ve had been approved since last Monday , and I found out Friday when I pick up my mail and saw my letter. The app is not updated still says case received , as well as the new and old website! Hang in there guys , your next!!

So from now, the NVC will receive your case and then assign a number for your case. You will use that number to submit your visa application via CEAC online and they will tell you the next steps. Most of us have called once or several times a week to see if the NVC has either received the case or has assigned a number. I say call the NVC and check up on the status. My case was approved on 11/05 and send from USCIS to NVC on 11/15... on 11/26 NVC told me they received the case that day. I am still waiting to get a case number assigned...they said can take up to 8 weeks. So I'm calling again today, like I have been every Monday.

Good luck! There are so many links and resources you can look up NVC steps online and find the checklists.
