Just been on the phone with USCIS. No there was nothing related to a name change in the RFE.

 

They said it is an internal message they have between departments and they are working on the case...

NVC never contacted me. I am the one who is calling them and they told me they received my case on 10/02 but till this day nothing no case number.

I have a similar case,they told my hubby to submit one of his passport which he did but till now no reply from them yet Nebraska

Hi, the last time my husband called NVC, they said they received our case last October 11. But until now, we are still waiting for our case number. NVC hasnt contacted us yet.

I also have not received anything from NVC yet - similar to others I called, they confirmed they had received it, but indicated it wasnt yet in the system.  

 

I suggest going to my post a few pages back and following the link to submit a request for information to NVC in which in the comments section you ask they add your email address to your case - in this way as soon as they touch it and enter it you should receive email notification
