Hello - I have a few last minute questions before mailing my fiancé's petition next week:

1. Can anyone who are recently had their I-129F petition approved confirm that the G-325A forms are no longer needed or required?

2. From my understanding receipts are considered secondary evidence - how vital is it for hotel receipts (in addition to reservations in English), engagement ring receipt, gift receipts, etc. to be translated from Spanish to English? Should I be concerned if we don't translate them?

3. Anyone received a RFE for passport photos? We went to 2 places in Nicaragua and Costa Rica and we unsatisfied with the quality of the photos. I'm a little nervous about this. Also is their a requirement against taking a photo with a white shirt?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

1. G325A is now a part of the updated version of the I129F form, so there's no separate one to send

2. If you primary evidence (photos and corresponding passport stamps were what I did) showing you were together within the past 2 years clearly demonstrates it, I wouldn't even worry about receipts. But if you do submit anything in Spanish, the i-129 instructions say that you should also send a translation

"If you submit a document with information in a foreign language, you must also submit a full English translation. " Although when I submitted messages exchanged, I didn't translate them since ultimately the embassy would look at it, and they obviously speak Spanish.

3. I don't have experience with that, sorry. I129 instructions only specify that the background needs to be an off-white background.

Congrats on starting your visa journey. If you have any questions with the process through Nicaragua, please pm me, I'll share any and all experience that we went through

1.   Correct, the G-325A is no longer required, since the most up to date I-129F includes all the biographical information required for the application.

2.  I included hotel receipts with my application.  Since I was with my fiance in both Japan and Brazil, I included numerous hotel receipts from both countries.  I did not get them translated since I included a brief description on the bottom of each copy of what, when and where the receipts were from (plus the receipts had some English on them anyways...) If you feel more comfortable getting them translated, there would be no harm in doing so.

3.  As far as passport photos, I will send a link, and I hope it will help.  Shirt color shouldn't play a factor.

Best of luck on your journey!
