Hello everyone, I would love to know if we are to include all of our close to 6 months WhatsApp chat history for cr1 visa first step USCIS or just screenshot of few of  our online conversations will do.

For the 1st step, you should provide quality evidence that you are legally married......marriage certificate, contract, etc.  I don't think they want pages and pages of conversations, but maybe just a few pertaining to the marriage would be appropriate.

But the on-going relationship evidence comes later:

My attorney advised me to provide evidence of our on-going relationship for the entire time from filing to interview (last stage).  For us, that was a year.  We included screen shots of 2 to 3 conversations a month (although we spoke 2 times a day) for the period....I don't think hundreds of pages of conversations really helps much.  I would focus on QUALITY evidence over quantity of evidence.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

This help thanks. We have few pictures we took together, our marriage certificate, birth certificates, all her trip itinerary, hotel bookings, receipts of money remittance and affidavit from family members testifying they witnessed our marriage. 2x2 passports for both of us, and more pics what other things do you think we should include?

You don't need all your chat history. My husband and I just had the main requirements (marriage, birth, etc) plus a letter from my mother stating she knew we were getting married and knows my husband; I also included a certificate from a pre-marital course we took. I didn't include pictures or anything else. I was approved without any issues. Good luck!

I wanted a rounded set of evidence and did what we refer to as "front loading".  I submitted trip documents, along with a couple of pictures from each trip, and for chat just submitted a random page from each week to show the regular communication (the content isn't important).

People argue whether there is any advantage to front loading.  I can only say that the interview was short. But.. they never tell us they loved the pictures, didn't care about the hotel receipts or anything of that nature.  Don't make the amount of paperwork overwhelming... just enough to show you met and have a relationship. More isn't always better.

OK good to know. Are you saying marriage certificate, birth certificates, court oath from relatives, 2x2 head shots, screen shots of her flight tickets, visa and stamps.  few pictures together and data page of both passports are sufficient?

The marriage certificate is required, so it's a given.

Statements from relatives are considered the least important, but if you have them go ahead, but don't go out of your way for them.

Pictures, labeled.

If you have any comingling of funds (authorized signor on a credit card for example) it would be good to add, but not expected.

Your birth certificate isn't required, but I added mine, probably was overkill.

A small random sample of chats.  This is an updated version of the original instruction to add copies of letters and phone bills showing calls which no one has these days.

what i did was send a conversation from each month, sending absolutely everything is a waste of paper. they just want to see that you guys constantly keep in touch :) and some folks don't even send chat logs, it's up to you. anything you think will help your case is fine.

Understood. But the need to frontload (if any), and how much varies by embassy.
