Hi Augustines - My fiance had his interview yesterday and we were approved. My VJ timeline has a thorough embassy review and explanation of how things went from NOA2 to the interview.

A couple tips to those of you awaiting NOA2 or NVC:

- Once you get your NVC # you can book your medical interview and submit your DS-160. Get it out of the way regardless of if your embassy has your case. :)

- If you call NVC and you are the "electronic group" your case might take a looong time to get entered into their system. We waited a full month between NOA2 and receiving our NVC#. Don't panic; once you get your number, things move much faster if your case is electronic.

Good luck!

They kept it. Told fiance it will be ready in about 5-10 business days.
For my country, you will never get it the next day. There's a designated location for passport pickup. But I see the turnaround right now to be about 3-5 days with those that recently had interviews so am hopeful.
Maybe by next Monday :D

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Hi all!!

officially been 2 weeks now since we received our NOA2 (yahoo!)

just wondering where and how I can contact the NVC to check up on a case number? do I call / email? or does my fiancé have to call? (He’s the petitioner, I’m the beneficiary) it’s all so confusing haha.

also; I can’t believe some of us August filers are still waiting.. hang in there guys, it’s coming I promise 💛 don’t be discouraged!!
