Hello again! Have you heard from Montreal yet? :-S

Nope not a word! I even emailed our Packet 3 again on Wednesday (April 4th) morning just in case and I haven't gotten any kind of response to that email yet. The first time we emailed packet 3 (March 22nd)  they replied within 24 hours saying that we weren't allowed to send packet 3 just yet. I'm getting super frustrated after seeing other posters say they emailed as soon as their status changed to ready and they were able to book interviews the following day :(

Ok this is getting funny. Both sent packet 3 on March 22nd. Then I emailed my packet 3 again on April 4th as well so as to encourage some kind of action (I kid you not!!) and have heard nothing back still. Very frustrating!!

however, after sending the packet 3 again on April 4th I checked my status on CEAC (but this time I used the immigrant option rather than the non immigrant option), and it said my case was last updated on april 4th. Hopefully the update change wasn’t them throwing my application in the loony bin!

I read a few older posts in different forums about people having similar circumstances. One person said they emailed packet 3 five times before getting a response so I'm sure the embassy is used to it lol fingers crossed we both get packet 4 emails Monday morning :)

I got a little excited and accidentally posted this in September filers thread so I’m reposting here. LOL

Sorry for the duplicate tags ladies!  :bonk:

@Naes!!!!  I literally JUST congratulated you on your approval and mine just came in the mail today!!!  Aaaaaaaaah!  I can’t stop screaming and crying!!  I’m with my fiance in London so I went to check my e-mails for informed delivery notifications and it was there!!  Page 1of 1!!  I called my mom on Skype to tell her and I freaked her out with my tears!  LOL  She asked in a panic what had happened so I told her we’d been approved!  She asked, “Why are you crying then?”  Lol.  My fiance told her its because I’m an emotional person.    He knows me so well!   @NICK & PAULA I’m finally part of the club! :jest:Yay!!!

This was a silent approval as the website and the app still show Response to USCIS request for evidence was received.

Received date: August 23

RFE Date: Feb 28

RFE Additional Evidence Received by USCIS: March 15

NOA2 Date:  April 3

I will make sure to update my timeline. :dancing:

@Vholde346 Did you receive and return your rfe yet?

Hoping it was an easy one, with a quick turnaround....

Hi! Yes, we received it on Friday and posted our evidence back straight away. We were fortunate to get a heads up about what we needed to provide. Due to arrive at USCIS on Monday.

Thank you so much sweet lady!  I am so incredibly relieved and excited!  And it really was not my intention to abandon anyone but I did run off somewhere- to London to spend time with my fiancé!  Lol  The stress of it all was starting to take a toll on us, especially after our RFE, so we decided and agreed to take a break from it all and just focus on each other!  It’s been so great and time really did fly by!  I did feel out of the loop though so it definitely feels good to be back, especially since we’ve finally made some progress!  Soooo looking forward to our next steps now and grateful to finally be part of the NVC club! :dancing:

I just wanted to double check. We have received our number but on this site it is said that it is invalid. I am confused. Will wait a day then call. Thank you for response

Choose under immigrant visa category then put your NVC case number. ;)
