Completely understandable.
This process wrecks havoc on all of us in different ways.
 

Many take a little breather and check back in only periodically.
Some want to stay on here for encouragement all the time. 

You do what's good for you, but I, along with others shall be here hopefully cheering for all Augustines when they received their NOA2!

I got an RFE on Feb 21 and I was approved March 8

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

That's what I'd done. I'd avoided the forums for most of the NOA2 wait. I just kept getting more and more depressed so I stopped coming. I'm sure yours will have movement soon! <3

I just feel that USCIS will get back into a regular swing.  I know that our 9 months and Trinab80's 10 months are anomalies.  I was always afraid to post because I didn't want others to think we were the normal processing time.  Something happened that really messed with May and June.  I am hoping that our challenges dont impact newer filers.  I think your "normal" journey will be quick and easy!

:wub::wub: Thank you sweet lady! :wub::wub:   We took our time and compiled an even more detailed collection of evidence and sent it in on Monday.  Hopefully that does the trick.  I am praying, while crossing all of my finger and toes, for a speedy response and approval!  :)

Hi Everyone, 

An update on the next step, NVC.  

In our case we were NOA2 approved, USCIS California, on Feb 16.

NVC received March 6 (digitally).

In line at NVC until March 14 when NVC case number was assigned.

NVC works two shifts, open 7am-midnight Eastern, and has been closed one day last week and one day this week due to the severe storms in the area.

 

So after NOA2, one month, and it is still not at the embassy.

 

Huge thank you to everyone who posts facts and data on the forum.  It really helps to understand the process.

Nick called NVC today, the lady said they didn't receive our case yet. Well, we'll gonna try again tomorrow. Sigh!
