Just try to be understanding.  If you were in his shoes you would feel the same.  America is a great place to live but right now it is certainly not immigration friendly.  Let him vent and don't bother defending America now because there is no way for him to understand.  Just keep the love strong and let him vent.  He has earned that right.  Don't take it personally.  He isn't attacking you.  He is frustrated with the process.  Just remember that someday the process will be over and you will be together.

You're right...all I can do is letting him vent.

This whole process has really opened my eyes though....just a few moments ago, I read a forum on here about how an Iranian national who openly admits to his US wife that he used her for a green card and is now filing a divorce and told her he's gonna take as much money from her as he can get...how abusive he was to her and how he was cheating on her, and how he purposely lied about being a diplomat and having access to weapons, etc. And while reading her story all that kept coming through my mind is....how was he not vetted more thoroughly but yet my fiancé has no criminal record, NEVER EVER BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW...doesn't do ANY DRUGS, barely drinks alcohol and when I mean BARELY, he makes me feel like I lush and I BARELY DRINK. He's not abusive, has and also kept a job....I mean, I can on and on, but my point is...I'm pushing 10 months of waiting for God knows what at this point BUT here we have someone who purposely lied on his application and to his USC fiancé now wife and now will be taking advantage of her and afforded the same opportunities to live and thrive here. But my fiancé and I are being put through all of this emotional turmoil for what????

This past Sunday (March 4th) was our 2 year anniversary of being a couple...I've known him for 2 years and almost 1 of those years has been spent waiting for approval, RFE or NOID if that's even something that they are weighing as an option over there at this point, although it can't be because I have visited him 8 TIMES prior to us filing our K1 on May 23rd. I gave USCIS our whole freaking love story with 48 pictures, itineraries, all the pages of my passport with all the stamps shown, 50+ pages of chat, 2 page story of how we met and listing every trip I took and how long each time I stayed, our Bahamas itinerary which is when proposed to me 2 days after his birthday!!! WHAT CAN POSSIBLY BE TAKING SOOOOOOOOOOO LONG THAT I CAN'T GET A NOA2 or RFE at this point????? Almost 10 months of waiting just for them to take 10-15 minutes to say yes, no or maybe so????

I'm sorry...needed to vent. I'm done!!

You have every right to vent too.  I have read of many people who are all loving and caring until they get into the states and all they need to do is claim abuse and they get to stay.  It is a broken system.  That much is true.

We are following all of the laws and requirements and we are treated like we are scammers.

Just stay strong and we will all get through this.

@Kween, are you talking about your HOME ADDRESS or the Embassy where the beneficiary is having interview? because ur post is not clear...
For address, you MUST change it at USCIS- that's why they even have the option to change online.

If you mean embassy, I have heard some say NVC sends to the proper embassy because some countries have a combination of embassy/consulates and only one will process the fiance application

On the i-129 I put that my fiance is going to have his interview and Haiti but it also ask what is his current address which is the Dominican Republic so NVC didn't pay attention to where we requested to have the interview but they only paid attention to his current address so they  re sending our case to Dominican Republic instead of Haiti

I'm praying for us all
