But they're not super active on the forum so it is possible they got NOA2 but didn't let us know/update their timelines?

Montreal is super frustrating! They received our case on March 20th and we didn't get Packet 3 until April 25th. I did the same thing as you and emailed them once a week and always got the "don't send until we ask" email, meanwhile people whose cases had been received weeks after ours were booking their interviews. It sucks!

Now do they automatically schedule the interview? Wen and I filled out and submitted her ds160 last night. So im waiting for her to get her packet in the mail before I do anything else. Had hoped for an early June interview, but not likely to happen esp if the embassy schedules it and not us.

We just submitted it May 22nd. Just waiting on the Packet 3 before going any further so I can find out if they are going to be the ones scheduling the interview.

Ok, maybe 1week or 2 weeks they reply you and you can do another step as medical check or collect all evidence for interviews.

Ok good to know it wasn't just me!! But...I JUST GOT THE PACKET 3 EMAIL!!!!!!! But, they sent it to my fiancee only (petitioner) lol. He forwarded it to me, and I just submitted packet 3 AGAIN!! Fingers crossed the wait for Packet 4 isn't as long!!!

04/02/19 - AOS status updated to "Interview Was Scheduled"

04/04/19 - Received Interview Letter

Packet 4 uusally doesn't take too long at all, though.. like a day

 

Anyone know what touches to cases at the embassy mean? I keep seeing mine updated on CEAC and it's probably nothing but I'm still paranoid, we've been ready for two months or so now so I haven't really expected any updates.. :)

I spoke too soon!! Received Packet 3 AND Packet 4 today!!! However, I can't book my interview because Montreal has no appointments available??? lol I can't win!! I wonder if anyone knows how long it usually takes for appointments to open up and if it's normal for there not to be any available??

Yes... There is no improvement. It feels like they accidentally threw away our papers. I’m a really happy and patient person so I truly believe that everything will be allright soon (or later) :D
