Hi ,

I need some advices  if somebody  can help me .My sister( Europe)  and her huband ( US citizen  ) got married  last month in Europe , they know each other  from over 1 year  and he visited  ...first visit  was around  September -October  and she also got pregnant  .Now they are filling  for CR1 and K3 to bring  her more faster in her , but we hope she will be able to give  birth in US . There papers will be send next week for CR 1 visa .Do you think it will be possible  for the CR1 or K3 to be approved  very soon to be able to give birth in US ? Can we do something  else to improve  the time ? Please  if somebody  have any ideas , suggestions  or it was in a case like this help us , please .

The K3 isn't often granted anymore, so it would be a CR1. They are taking about 12-14 months, give or take at the moment. So it is unlikely if they have as yet not filed that she would be in the USA in time to deliver.

I'm sorry, but there is no expedite for pregnancy.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

first of all, k3 is obsolete, it takes the same amount of time as the i130 and it is usually administratively closed at the nvc to have the interview in her country

 

the process is taking from 12 to 14 months, so she won't be able to have the child in the US.. if he qualifies, her husband can file CRBA in her country
