File each paper (ap, EAD, greencard) as if they were all seperate applications. So if it says you need a marriage certificate for 2 make sure to include a marriage certificate for each form. You can pick up your marriage certificate instead of having it mailed to you to speed up the process. At that point i would purchase a few more to have on hand for other things.

And yes you can work when you get the EAD card but its taking a while in some states.

No, we didn't. We sent just 1 copy of each document requested for all 3 applications in 1 envelope, and never got an RFE requesting additional copy nor photo. (interview is in a couple of weeks)

Like if EAD requests 2 photos, AP requests 2 photos, GC requests 2 photos, we included 2 total.

That's good. Everyone is different and some knit pick.  Have a nice day!

People have received an RFE for missing photos in that case. They don't need a separate copy of the marriage certificate and such for the I-131 and/or I-765, though. The list of documents needed for each form is in the instructions.

Just make a checklist of all the documents you need to send and make sure you have everything. You need to wait for the EAD card in the mail before you get a job. That’s taking anywhere between 3-6 months. You need to make sure you are applying for AP as well if you wanna be able to leave the country and back before your greencard comes. December sounds like it’s doable if you file now. You do have to wait for your marriage license because you need to include a copy of it since that’s your proof you got married. Good luck!

Just get it directly from USCIS website. That way there’s no chance of getting the wrong ones.

They might be putting a new one up. Sometimes when they’re in between forms they’ll still accept the old one. I think you should call USCIS and ask them which version to use.

The form did not expire in 2015 or 2017. The Office of Management and Budget's (OMB's) period for comment on the form expired in 2017. As a filer of the form,, you go by the Edition Date in the lower left corner of the page, and ensure it is still accepted by USCIS:

https://www.uscis.gov/i-864

"Edition Date

07/02/15. A new edition of this form is coming soon. In the meantime, you may file using the 07/02/15 edition.  Previous editions are also accepted.  You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions. "

G-325A is no longer used. Be sure you are using the latest I-130/I-130A/I-485 (and any other forms).

Guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

Fill out the forms using your current name, which is what will appear on the EAD/AP and green card. So if you changed your name due to marriage, use that (so long as it's a permitted marriage-based name change...e.g. no changing first/given names).
