What is the best phone number to check on a CR-1 application? 

What is the best way to go about finding out details.

you can contact the customer service # while you are still within processing time, they will likely not be able to provide you with information.

 

When you call tier 1 they will only tell you what you can see online, while tier 2 might be able to look deeper but unless the judicating officer has put notes on your account they might not be able to see anything.

your nOA1 came in October / little early to try calling

read bottom of the notice / actually says not to call and that if they need further information, they will contact you

 

and calling doesn't get answers especially if they are just doing the normal computer inputs and background checks on the USC at this point / your case may not even be looked at yet as they are working on summer 2017 cases
