"whether it was good enough or not".... I hope it was, because RFEs and denials do happen for those that aren't good enough..... its not a guaranteed approval regardless of how good your application is..........

But I hope you will be approved - not once did I say that I wish bad things for you.

IT WILL BE APPROVED, EVENTUALLY!

I bet to differ with your response. Yes, every case is different and guess what every country is different including the high fraud countries. Since I have been on this site for about 4 years, I have watched person after person after person get denied for dumb and sometime fake reasons created by the COs in Ghana. I know several amazing ladies on here that have been fighting for years to get their men here. Then when they received the NOIR, the reasoning for the denial is completely fabricated or ridiculous reasons for denying. Our K1 was denied because of 1 single picture submit during the interview. Yet we have a real and strong relationship.

Our CR1 Case was frontloaded lots of quality evidence needed to get my husband home. And we were successful nearly a year ago. I have helped many others going through Ghana in the past year. All frontloaded...many have their partners home or are now way waiting for their interview. So there is something to frontloading a case especially when going through Ghana.

I will also add be cautious with listening to people from high fraud countries on here who claim they didn’t do much to get approved or didn’t have to prepare for the interview. If I have learned anything from this site, it’s that people don’t always provide the entire truth of their case or want to paint a rosy picture of how easy it is, which can ultimately hurt others who read their posts later. They might have had an easy time, but they are likely and exception to the rule for high fraud places.

I agree 100%.  Some countries require a great deal of front loading imo.

The bolded items are among the worst, most incorrect, and most reckless advice ever offered on VisaJourney.

The standards for passing the petition phase (USCIS) are far lower than those for visas at the consulates.

The consular officers (COs) look for evidence of a bona fide relationship.

This evidence cannot be determined merely from a petition and a letter of intent.

Enough evidence must be included in the petition package to convince a CO, in concert with the visa interview.

Applicants have brought evidence to the interview that COs have refused to look at.

We've had post after post after post over the years from people who underestimated the consular phase.

The COs hold 100% power over the progression of the immigration process.

What happens at the powderpuff Manila embassy has absolutely ZERO to do with reality elsewhere.  ZERO!

Do not -- do NOT! -- heed blanket advice such as the above poster puts forth.

I change nothing I said.  I am not talking about people meeting the requirement and making sure they have enough information.  I am talking about the people printing tens of thousands of pictures and tens of thousands of pages of texts.  If you look at this thread I was actually suggesting that they should seriously "over front load" their petition because of their situation.  I said "over front loading" is generally bad.  Sending thousands of pages of texts and thousands of receipts and bankers boxes of photos is not a good idea and will hurt.  I think we have a different definition of "over front loading".

So in summary, there is a difference between "front loading" and "over front loading".  There is a point of diminishing return.  That is all I was saying and in the case above, they need to exceed what is "normal" for the rest.

So here are the actual instructions from USCIS.  Please feel free to read them and make any changes that you decide is what they actually want.  I'm sure the nice people are now printing their 15000 pages (Rose and I have well over 25000 pages of texts as of this morning) and printing 5000 pictures (Rose and I have about 7500 with family and friends) are so happy that you changed the requirements.  Yes, you heard it here.  I was wrong about "over front loading".  Do not follow the directions from the government.  The real smart people are here...

So without further ado, here are the old and incorrect instructions that the USCIS gives...

This I agree with. No one should ever send in tens of thousands of pages of evidence.

What people need to remember is there is an art to frontloading. For some people in a little easier countries, one chat a month, plus a single trip, a few photos from it, and one or two pieces of evidence will do just fine.

In other countries like Ghana, it requires 3-4 chats a month, multiple trips, 5-7 pics from each trip from different days in different locations with different people, letters of support from family, and so much more...like adding a spouse to health insurance before they arrive, joint bank accounts, credit cards, etc. I feel with high fraud countries you almost have to prepare like you’re going through AOS or ROC from the beginning to overcome the challenges placed upon us from people in the past.

I did a really horrible job of communicating what I meant. The evidence has to be adequate to show a bona fide relationship but there is a point of diminishing return. We all have to convince a stranger that the relationship is real and that stranger is well trained at finding the cracks. Front loading is good to a point. In the end, the proof has to convince the CO that the relationship is real.

Indeed it's true that overloading can be a problem. There is an IR-1 case ongoing at the moment (petitioner is a VJ member) and they submitted 13 pounds of documents as evidence. They were denied.

Copies of the boarding passes.

Agree with other posters this level (if not more) is totally needed for Ghana.

Which dating website? I always wondered if they were easier for those who met on one of the ‘mainstream’ sites (Harmony for example)

Yes we had the boarding passes included too sorry I forgot mention here.We met on Interracialdating/Afroromance........thanks!!!!

Very sad...how can you would have/provide all evidence and still be denied?

But proof could also be captured in the front-loading or?I stand to be corrected though....
